Do you not think that every half decent footballer meets a load of fans every day from other clubs ? And that half of them asks "when you gonna join our lot?" Its probably ten times worse when he's subject to so much transfer talk. Surprised that he even got a smile and wink to be honest.
If was me i'd be sick to me hole of people asking the same question day in day out. And defo woudlnt comment each time was asked.
