OUR MIDFIELD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I could'nt believe what I was watching yesterday, I know it's been said many times before but Ebouie????????????????????? why??????????????? please tell me what Wenger sees in him. How can we go into a game one week into the new season with such a makeshift under standard midfield, Wenger's had all summer to sort this out and strengthen the squad. I know we've been unlucky with injuries but since the start of the year we've sold Diarra, Flamini and Gilberto and repleced them with? It does'nt take a rocket scientist to work out that we'd struggle if we had an injury or two in the central midfield position. We were a fuckin embarrassment yesterday and it cost us who went £48 for the pleasure of witnissing it :banghead: :banghead: and had to pay about £3.50 for a pint in some west London Tarquin's boozer half full of Australian rugger buggers watching some egg chasing match or other :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: Oh well, must'nt grumble  it coud be worse, I could support the vermin from up the road

someone needs to contact the police about yesterday, 1 for the daylight robbery of 5000 fans who had 50 quid stolen off em and 2 because im sure denilson has been the victem of identity fraud!

im sure hes meant to be brazilian and a promising star? well he was two years ago! he looks like a poor championship player now. maybe the real denilson is tied up in a lock up somewhere???

30 grand a week and you cant even take a throw on??? :banghead:

The same midfield that got the better of WBA so surely their midfeild is the worst?

No

That Song and Cesc should be fit soon, that hopefully Arsene will buy another midfielder is a comfort.

I am inviting everyone round for a party then...

It's saying something that comfort is taken in a player who was not good enough to play in central midfield and was moved back into central defence - and nowsome of our midfield hopes hang on him

I'm sure the African Cup of Nations would love to hear how bad he is there. I think he will play well there if we give him a try again

I think Eboue and Denilson have managed to become even worse than the Jensen / Hillier days under GG !!

Bring back Morrow and Selley.....
