Porto away advice please

i did porto away in 2006. it rained a lot but i'd recommend it (take an umbrella tho)
2 nights (3 max)
good, cheapish little bars/cafes/restaurants down by the water in the old town (ribeira district) was were everyone gathered in the square before & after game - they stayed open late (4am ish) the night of the game
walk over the bridge (scary when it is windy - but well worth it) & go to the port distillaries on the other side of the river
they were really strict on the metro about having tickets & had loads of police at the station where the stadium is & made people who didn't have tickets get in a massive queue to buy one before they would let them out
i did a bus tour which was good, as the outskirts were really pretty - but i know that this takes a hour out of drinking time so some of you may not wanna do it!
im too skint to go this time - saving my pennies for when we get through to the next round
