I have really rated rosicky for years now (since he caused us no end of trouble while playing for sparta prague many years ago at highbury) but I do believe that this will be his last season as a footballer
I expressed this sentiment on the predictions thread some time back and it doesnt appear that we are any nearer to seeing his return now than we were then No body can take the hardship he has much less a body as small as his and while his unfilled potential will be a hard blow to take I do think the worst is going to happen. Would really really love to be wrong here as I think little mozart is more ideally suited to our style of football than any other player we have and I am including cesc in that

It would be tempting to call that extreme just from the point of view of wishing there’s no way that could happen. But honestly having read Boomer’s diagnosis, it’s quite possible if not probable that the outcome of this surgery he’s had over the summer really is the make or break (for want of a better term obviously) of his career. If this surgery doesn’t fix the problem you have to wonder how on earth he could carry on if the problem’s he’s had are just gonna keep recurring every time.

Great player when fit, said in the summer he would be at least the equal of Modric for us if we played him in his more natural position and/or he just got the run of games he’s never had for us yet.

Finger’s crossed he can still make himself the next legendary Arsenal number 7!
