CAN YOU STILL DEFEND WENGER????

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Sorry they are facts!

We are being mugged off by a spin exercise and treated like tossers! Wenger is palying the game as much, if not more than anyone and the facts is we are playing a losing game!

Lovely stadium......with a lot of shite players to fill it!

Joke!
Mate now you are seriously over reacting, shite players? This is the team that carried us so close to the title last season.
Close isnt good enough!!!

Our players aren't all shite but I have to mention that this sqaud fell short last season and they are actually weaker this season, so it would stand to reason for us to be a little disenchanted with the lack of transfer activity.
Well put, feel exactly the same. However would 1 signing change the way you feel?

Their not shite, no.

But, I suppose Eboue, Denilson, Diaby and Song would be laughed out of town if they expected to earn a starting place at Chelsea, Liverpool or ManUre.

Holding midfield options....

Chelsea - Essien, Mikel, and Ballack
Liverpool - Alonso, Gerrard, Mascherano, Plessis and Lucas.
ManUre - Carrick, Hargreaves and Anderson.
Arsenal - Denilson, Diaby, Song and Eboue :?

That's a problem..especially with the ever so reliable Gallas & Toure partnership behind them

Well be ok for top 4....but is that good enough??

It would have given me a little more optimism but would not give us sufficient cover to mount a serious title challenge.

Anderson.....yes. He plays alongside Scholes in CM.

Eboue played alongside Denilson....so take your pick.

bah humbug, arsene knows... denilson is shit, simple as. He's said it himself champions league football is essential for the club. He's running the club/business at the minute, Dein's gone so Arsene seems to be controlling everything including the finances. Finance seems more important than trophies for at least the next few years

Tinpot....ok, mate...explain. How would Nasri and Cesc be a good partnership in CM? I can't see how it would be effective defensively?

And why are you questioning why I think Gerrard is capable of playing CM?? he can tackle...and he's played there many times for Liverpool and England.

Anderson also plays there for United.

Lucas is a CM, and apparently is an all rounder (like Denilson)

Eboue played there against FC Twente and Fulham.
