MANU PETIT

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I was only joking. But in all serious-ness i'm sure they are out there somewhere, just like the infamous glory hole toilets.

Great player, but didn't he claim that when Spuds were in the hunt to bring him back to England he turned them down as a sign of his love for Arsenal? And then promptly joined Chavski? Cheers for that, Manu!!

I forgive him though, looking forward to the book.

The book is shite, Manu turned his back on Arsenal and slams them on Canal+ every game they play... In France it did a flop.

Actually he doesn't comment Arsenal games anymore, he did on TPS channel few seasons ago and he was very harsh with Arsenal but it's because he loves the Club in my opinion.
Wenger wrote the preface of his book, he's still friend with a lot of people at Arsenal. His problem is that he says disturbing things that a lot of people thinks so he has some enemies.
He works now at L'équipe TV.

Manu was quality. 8) Imagine him now (but as he was in 98) alongside Cesc. :barscarf:

Strangely I saw him on some bizarre Ruby Wax show a few years ago and she (it  ) asked him if Arsenal missed him. He went very quiet and said; "No. But I miss Arsenal." 8)

Looked like he was gonna cry... I nearly did too... :(
