As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
I can agree with a lot that has been said here but I think Almunia cannot be blamed for yesterday. No keeper would have stood a hope in hell with either of them gosla yesterday. He may not be the best out there but to lay any blame for yesterday at his door is both misguided and unfair. AW has to shoulder his share of the blame but on the player front Adebayor, Gallas and Toure have got to be held to account, not Almunia.
The money he bet was built up by betting on sure things / locks as he saw them, I think he started with £100 on online betting and he bets for chelski Real madrid etc when they are odds on.
i have to say after all the time of watching arsenal in my life that was the worst ive ever seen them! and to top it all of it cost me £44! you would expect a performance for that amount of money! and fabregas, van persie and fabregas didnt look fucking interested! thats why we are not gunna win the title! because we lose at home to hull!!!

Arsenal 2 Luton 3 (1987/1988)
Yesterday was a new low though.
What bollocks.
How can losing to a newly promoted side in the Premiership even compare to losing to a side 91 places below you in the football hierarchy as Wrexham had been in 90/91?
It compares because aside from the Man Utd game in '01, we were massive favourites to win those 3 games, were ahead in all 3 games at some stage but ended up losing and I'm sure you'd agree that losing any game you know you should win hurts more than getting your balls caught between 2 bricks
