You should watch arsenal more then.

Arshavin couldn't care less.. (see his reaction to the Denilson goal)
arshavin tracked back way more than his striking partner eduardo did and was actually behind all of our attacks when we actually started playing properly in the last 10 minutes. granted, he shouldnt be playing properly only in the last 10 minutes, but that was down to our midfield struggling rather than it bein arshavins fault. our midfield couldnt even string 3 passes properly so how is arshavin supposed to get the ball, let alone do anythign with it?

When the match is at parity, why do we have to attack with 9 players? It cost us shit load of goals this season.
because this was a must win game if we were to win the league, and at 1-1 in the 80th minute we needed to send players forward to put pressure on them and get the winner. you cant expect to still be defending with 5 players in that situation. it was a risk that we had to take.

Denilson has no physical presence, and he can't pass. Maybe if he has a long term injury, we would buy\loan a real DM until Song is back.
agree with you here

Eduardo wasn't involved enough, neither was nasri .
true eduardo wasnt involved but wtf on nasri? he was the ONLY player that created something or actually ran with the ball bar arshavin and diaby. the difference being that nasri was doing it throughout the game, and diaby and arshavin only managed it within the last 10-15 minutes.

Diaby was our best player today. Improving as the season goes on.
not our best player as he was still giving the ball away too many times in the first half and only really kicked into gear within the last 15 minutes. our best player today was nasri.

I know there will be hell of a lot of football going on later in the season, but still, playing in the snow is not smart for an Arsenal team.
absolute shocking post. youre wrong on most accounts!
answers are in bold.

To be fair, I thought Everton played VERY well today.

It's common knowledge that Arsenal don't like being pressured and rushed in possession, and Everton did that brilliantly. Coupled with the weather that doesn't suit our pampered stars, I thought it was a point GAINED and not two dropped.

If not for two Lampard-esque deflected goals we would have lost, so lets be thankful we picked up a point. Realistically, you can't win them all and there are worse sins than dropping them to an outstanding Everton performacnce in the snow, like today.

I'm disappointed, but thankful we picked up anything from such a miserable performance.

We need about 30 poles between the sticks as none of our goalies fill me with any confidence.

I had said in another thread that if we bought a couple of players in Jan, that the league was so poor we could actually win it(Watching the brummies dick all over Utd's toothless ronaldo-less attack at the mo and haven't changed that belief). The problem is We won't buy, Denilson won't be injured for long enough, sadly and Wenger will keep believing Bendtner is ready to lead the line for us.

Without our One Song this month, and no RvP all season, sadly we will be waiting yet another season for silverware.

Feel sorry for Everton, they should've got 3 points for their perfomance against gutless wonders.

Not sure I understand this line, are you being sarccy about our bambies on snow or do you honestly mean we should only play in lovely 15-20 degree weather, little rain just to make the pitch greasy and an opposition that turn up at the Grove and admire us make Da Vinci like design with our 'beautiful' football whilst their attackers be so timid that even our porn star goalie can get his smoking jacket and pipe out in the middle of the game.

If you mean the former good point, if you mean the latter then sorry if I think players on good wages in the best job in the world should put a fucking shift in regardless of the weather or opposition. It was too cold today to be subjected to a gutless peformance in OUR OWN STADIUM.

Got pretty much what we deserved i thought. There's not a chance of us winning the league whilst pathetic, uninterested performances like these are put in with alarming regularity. We only really turned up on 85 minutes. Same old story of Arsenal failing to have a plan B when team pressure them & put numbers behind the ball. Give Everton their due, it was probably one of their better recent performances, but with us I just couldnt see where the goals were going to come from. With no RvP or equivalent big striker we're relying on numerous inconsistent midfielders to notch many our goals which is never gonna work. We need to spend on a big, consistent target man who can hit 20-30 per season for us & build on that. Any other goals that go in are a bonus then.

Song was missed. A team languishing two thirds of the way down the table was allowed to move the ball around in the middle with relative freedom. A chance to close the gap on the chavs to 1pt missed. :(

A frustrating afternoon but at least we didn't lose & it was good to see TR7 back on the scoresheet, even if he was rather fortunate with the deflection.

Mate, Arshavin isn't playing well for two months now. He doesn't seem to want to lead this team, and he needs a Fabregas type of player next to him for him to start putting some work. I think he should grow a pair and start taking more responsibility.
When the match is at parity, why do we have to attack with 9 players? It cost us shit load of goals this season.

I didn't say to leave 5 players back, I tried to suggest that we souldn't be leaving only Traore by himself there. We are a dream opponent for counter-attacking teams.

I didn't say he was worst than most of the players in our team, most of them had a below average match. Still, I expect a player like Nasri to do more.
