Arsenal's defensive midfielder Denilson explained the declarations published this Wednesday 19th by The Sun, about Cesc FÃ bregas, captain of the team and personal friend of the player.
"FÃ bregas is a great friend. When I said that the team has no leaders I wanted to highlight that Arsenal is a very young team, and sometimes we lack a more experienced player, like Gilberto Silva was for many years" explained Denilson, who has already talked to Cesc after the misunderstanding.
"I'm a shy guy, I don't like trouble or polemic. I was misunderstood. I've talked to FÃ bregas and everything is solved. We are fighting for the English title and that won't take our focus away".
Which is strangely almost exactly the same as this posted a couple of days ago....

The midfielder released a statement via Rio-based communications agency 'Fair Play' to clarify his position.
"Fabregas is a great friend. When I said the team had no leadership it was to point out that Arsenal have a very young squad and sometimes lack a more experienced person, as it had for many years with Gilberto Silva for example," said Denilson in the statement at www.fairplayassessoria.com.br.
"I am a shy guy, I do not like controversy and problems.
"I was misquoted. I have talked with Fabregas and everything is resolved.
"We are fighting for the English title and it will not take away our focus."
