It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Bad example.. that one actually shone a light on the Glazer's ownership and got considerable media attention and arguably laid the platform for an (albeit failed) takeover bid.
This doesn't have to achieve flat-out fundamental change right away. Imo its main use, if it can take off, is to get the message across that the fans are no longer going to accept these nearly men unless significant action is taken to rectify our glaring problems.
One of the reason Wenger has followed this project so diligently is because he thinks everyone and everything connected to Arsenal is behind him. Maybe if the fans can organise and get the point across in a way that the sycophants at redaction never could, he might have to think carefully before pissing away yet another season through inaction.
Lads, a few "housekeeping" reminders here. Firstly, this is an open forum, not your personal meeting area. If other members want to discuss or argue against this idea then they are entitled to, so no more telling people where they can or cannnot post please.
Arsenal1991, will you stop dragging your .com bitching session onto this forum, mate? Fuck them. They are twats.
For the record I don't really support this fully because I now firmly believe Wenger must go. IMHO it is too simplistic to say we need to invest in the squad and NOT look at Wenger's role. I believe it is his myopic self belief that is preventing investment in the squad rather than limitations placed on him by the club. I still love the man for what he has achieved in the past but his time is up as far as I'm concerned. No man is bigger than the club. Arsenal FC first, always.
I do agree with the "idea" of our club going back to being more of a club and less of a business though.

I'm sorry but if you think the club are gonna listen to a few angry fans telling them what to do or how to manage the team because they've won Arsenal the Champions League in the latest football manager then think again, the club only care about ticket sales, this protest is a non starter with no real direction.
The BSM had direction and realistic aims for the direction of the club, this pony movement just wants to play manager and the real world does not work like that.
If you care for the club like you say you do then stop trying to make us look like Muggy Geordies or Victims from Liverpool.

Your such a deluded idiot – NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO THERE NOT FUCKING OOD ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They are youth players who are not proven yet. They should be learning from proven quality winners that can teach them about a winning mentality and the strong mental aspect of the game.
NOT DENILSON, DIABY, TR, AA23, even Jack, Nasri, and Cesc have it as none of those players hold such quality’s. Not one player in our weak minded team does.
So if you want to start going on about Frimpong, Wellington, Mr Daniel Son miagi then go ahead. For me its not good enough. Its simple I want to know where my money is going. And why we don’t spend any!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thats not how supporting a football team works
demanding how and when the manager spends isn't even the right way to go about OWNING a football team ffs
Herd this thread is actually trying to get the wheels set in motion to put an agenda together. Common sense says that if you dont have the numbers behind you it wont work....thats the point any action wont work without numbers and if it doesnt get numbers that your rite its failed and probably wasnt good enough to appeal to the masses.
To all those who say "they wont listen, what will it acheive?". In my opinion its time the manager and board really knew that people were unsatisfied. Some kind of chants/protest/banner/whatever would at least make them aware that there is unrest in certain quarters of our support.
In my opinion it better than doing nothing. As some have posted, "it wont change Wenger"......it may not, but it may take some of the air out of the bubble he's been living in where he thinks he can do no wrong.
I also want to add to those who say "what are you going on about we're 2nd in the league, what if we win". Well hopefully we do, but even then investment is clearly still needed.
This is just getting off the ground and is technically still and idea, these things take time to grow and develop. But as I've said before how can a call for investment in real quality in the squad be a bad thing?

Do you pay for a season ticket JD? How much money do you spend every year and how much effort do you put into the club with travel and heart ache after losing every big test the last 6 years?
If were going to pay so much to support our beloved club then give us somet6hingto pay for. Sign the fucking players we need to win the league. AS I KEEP SAYING NOT 100MIL.
But the necessary players needed to go on and win.
THAT WE CAN AFFORD!!!!!!!!!
Those who say they won’t listen well lets be honest, what have they had to listen to so far? Aside the ‘’One Arsene Wenger’’ song which echoes through Wenger lovers which makes them feel all is well they have nothing to base what the fans want or how they feel. The matter isn’t ‘’will they listen or not’’ it is ‘’speak up and be heard.’’
It is better to act on something in any form then sit at home and moan about it then when it comes to the crunch say ‘‘whats the point?’’

This is the key for me. The club charge the highest prices in the world, we have the highest paid manager in the world. The team should match.
Im currently 20,000 on the waiting list but thats going to be significantly reduced, the club won't notice until they start getting hit in the pocket but no one wants to give up their season ticket and this is the best way IMO to get them to notice not everyone is happy with paying the highest prices to see sub standard performances.
Its also not fair to Jack, Nasri, Cesc, Djourou, Szcz to have to play alongside Denilson, Diaby.

This is the one argument that never gets any come back.
Its fact we charge the highest prices and without winning anything
its fact we have the 2nd highest paid manager and the most profit made than any other club
but still people are happy????? wake up! your being mugged off!
