Wow, just wow.
Now he is a glory hunter? As you know, we get various types of footballers, the shitty, to the average and then the special world class players. Now, the shitty and average will know that and will be happy with their lot and picking up their pay cheques. Some will be lucky to play in a winning team and collect their medals.
However, the special one's they want more than just money. They want to win trophies. This has been reiterated ad nauseam that Fab is a player with ambition. He's not stupid enough to think he'd walk into the 1st team of Barca, but how long does Xavi really have in the tank to play at that level week in and week out. Cesc is his natural successor. How do you know what the level of his contribution will be? your post smacks of bitterness.
Yes he signed a long term contract, at a time when the club promised so much and I'm sure Wenger whispered a rosy future in his ears. Who knows what goes on behind the scenes but I can bet Wenger has promised him quality players but has of yet failed to meet those promises. The person to blame here is Wenger. However, in saying that Cesc is under contract and should honour it but do we really want a player that does not want to be here. Besides contracts mean zilch these days.
Poor bastard, thought he'd be playing alongside footballers with the calibre of Henry, Pires, Viera et al, not the players from the football's bargain bin.
