I know murray was disappointed but watching him cry like a fucking baby was embarassing. Honestly I don't think I have ever seen a beaten professional sportsman or woman for that matter, make such a fucking arse of themself.
It's easy to see why he can't win a major tournament, if that is a measure of his strength of character.
Wimbledon 2012
Re: Wimbledon 2012
think ur totally wrong goonersid, 2009 australian open nadal beat federer in 5 sets and federer was the same he was in tears and broken down way worse than murray yday and in the same year still went on to win the french open and wimbledon. what does that say for federer?!?! federer was just simply too good yday but the pleasing thing was murray was at least trying to win the match. people in defeat just taking cheapshots at him coz they simply dont like himgoonersid wrote:I know murray was disappointed but watching him cry like a fucking baby was embarassing. Hardly the first international sportsman ever to break down after a huge defeat. It's not hugely uncommon to see somebody in tears in that situation, and the intensity of playing in a major tournament for a fortnight being under constant scrutiny must have been immense. To add to that not many people would keep their composure when being forced to try and articulate their emotions in front of a TV audience of 17 million in the UK alone immediately after defeat. I can appreciate that it was somewhat embarrassing even though it was understandable but I would hardly use it as evidence of his mental ineptitude.DB10_TH14 wrote:think ur totally wrong goonersid, 2009 australian open nadal beat federer in 5 sets and federer was the same he was in tears and broken down way worse than murray yday and in the same year still went on to win the french open and wimbledon. what does that say for federer?!?! federer was just simply too good yday but the pleasing thing was murray was at least trying to win the match. people in defeat just taking cheapshots at him coz they simply dont like himgoonersid wrote:I know murray was disappointed but watching him cry like a fucking baby was embarassing. I thought he actually played aggressively yesterday instead of over-using the slice backhand. He should really have taken the second set and the problem was he take his chances to break when presented with the in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th sets, but in sets 3 & 4 Federer was unreal. He is a phenomenal tennis player when he's on his game and he brushed aside Djokovic with ease in the semis, it's a hugely disappointing loss for Murray but I wouldn't liken it to the other grand-slam finals where he didn't turn up.
