Sat in the clock end lower and there was a thought there was a surprisingly good atmosphere for a game against poor opponents.
Oh Rocky Rocky was sung loud and proud and even Red Army seemed to getting a bit of volume.
Gervinho was absolutely awful, yes he scored and got two assists but his overall game is comical, seems he can't get anything right and always loses possession. His champagne moment in first half when the ball was going out for a throw in to us but he decided to chase it and stop it going out, only to back heel it off himself out for a Reading throw! Incredible he got a standing ovation when subbed (I didnt stand) for that display against Reading!
Towards the end of the second half some prat near us said Spurs had conceded a second and were now 2-2, a cheer went up and even a verse of "When the wheels come falling off" in what turned out to be error.
Routine win against poor opposition but 3 points essential.
Looked like absolute one-way traffic, be surprised if they get near surviving. Enjoyed McDermott on Goals on Sunday (normally avoid that programme like the plague) - very honest.

yep McDermott came across honest and genuine.
One way traffic was definitely the case... comfortable game and a very impressive performance overall I thought.
"oh but it was only against reading blah blah blah blah..." SOd Off! (a pre-emptive strike that )
a good win but reading were dire.one thing that this game illustrated was how fucking slow we are now when we have possesion, everything is sideways and backwards especially when jacks not in the team, another thing too is although we bagged four it managed to disguise how desperate we are for some real quaity up front,i know forehead scored one and set up another but in general he is sooooooooo fucking wasteful and as per usual giroud nets when the game is done and dusted.had reading faced utd or city today they would have been looking at possibly a record prem defeat,we let them off due to our woeful forward play at times.nice to bag another 3 points but we are a shadow of our former selves
Monreal took most of the blame on MOTD for losing his man but imo Sagna was more at fault. As he did against Newcastle a few times instead of closing the man down on the touchline where if he fouls or gets skinned it's unlikely to be too costly, he backed off and backed off and the bloke was able to cross the ball from the corner of the box without even skinning anyone. If he then puts a good ball in it makes it very difficult to defend.

Agree....Monreal just looked guiltier though.....but it was a pathetic goal to concede to really weak opposition.
