I think utd should receive the applause of the home fans, no matter how hard to swallow, this is part of what sport is all about. They have won it fair and square and our failings are not their fault. By all means boo and taunt Judas for 90 mins for that is part of what football is all about.
We won't look sore losers for booing Judas but we will look small time sore losers if we can't acknowledge the premier league winners for what they have achieved.

Re: Arsenal v Manure
they'll get a couple of limp-wristed claps from me,
till vanStaplecunt appears who I will give dogs abuse
it isn't 20 years later, this is the first return of the 'little boy inside' who was apparently 'always a Gooner'
he deserves stick (as did Paul Ince for wearing a ManUre shirt whilst a WestHam player)
it's all standard terrace banter, part of football,
hardly the same as booing a players son, which is pretty sad...

Lets be grateful that Santos is no longer around, never mind a guard of honour, he would have been rimming RVP.

It won't be anywhere near as big a deal as has been made out this week. We were always going to give them a guard of honour, in reality it lasts for about 10 seconds and the music will be played so loud that it will drown out basically everything unless virtually all 60,000 are booing simultaneously.
Just an excuse to keep it in the news along with van Judas stories all week.

Much better surely to witness the new build reverberate to the cacophony of thousands of eyes glazing over with indifference?

Could not give a monkeys about guard of honour or a round of applause for the mancs i just hope that some of the prima donnas that have the privillage of wearing our clubs sacred colours pull their fingers out and give the mancs a good spanking on the pitch and give a performance all gooners deserve.

From SkySports.com:
"Wenger confirmed that his players will form a guard of honour in recognition of their opponents' championship triumph, a move Ferguson has backed.
"I am glad Arsene has done that; when they came to Old Trafford in 2002 and Sylvain Wiltord scored the only goal, we did exactly the same," he added."
They didn't give us a guard of honour in 2002, did they? They usually take place before the match, and we weren't champions until we'd beaten them! And I don't recall them doing one after the match (although to be fair, they were graceful in defeat). Just irks me when SAF is given a free license to spout bullshit without anybody questioning it.

They were graceful after trying to kick us off the park for the first 20-30 minutes as I recall, which was par for the course up there at that time. As I said there was never any question that we weren't going to do it, it's just a token gesture which I doubt will hurt many people actually employed by the club.

He is probably Club level, most of them don't turn up until 10 minutes after kick off, and miss 10 minutes of the 2nd half.falkirk goon wrote:Tony McCoy,lifelong gooner and all round cool dudewas on Keys and Gray this morning,at the end of the call they asked him about the guard of honour and he said "i wont be in there when thats going on" or words to that effect.

Quite right Sid.
They have won the league fair and square (for a change) but it says as much about the poor quality of the league as it does their ability (despite somehow being able to possibly claim a new point record

Applaud their achievement - they deserve the respect but then give em hell for 90 mins while praying for a miracle.

I'm with you on this one one olgit. Detest everything about them. Be sporting and applaud them? No chance! Another example of the manager (and some fans) being completely out of touch with real fans. Just remember what they've tried to do to us over the years, and all the hateful pricks that have worn that shirt, and all the shit they've got away with. How anyone can applaud them is beyond me!olgitgooner wrote:Thankfully it is physically impossible to applaud when giving a one finger salute. Fuck you manc utd. I've always hated you. And always will.
