Champions League Qualifying Round 2013

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

i'd rather we go out and we do better in the league and FA Cup.

whereas we used to run Juve, Milan etc ragged, now if we face anyone decent we're going to lose so whats the point ?
what's the point of what? being a football fan...?
99% of fans know their team is unlikely to win trophies yet they all manage it

Yeah but 99% of fans don't support Arsenal. We are probably the only club in the land that have the resources to do far better than we ever do but instead appear to almost choose to underachieve on the football side of things because there are other areas that take priority.

So if some Arsenal fans are not behaving like normal football fans anymore it is probably because their club isn't behaving like a normal football club anymore.

I think Sagna is now supposed to be our back up CB. And I've read that Luiz Gustavo can cover at CB... Maybe that's why Arsene is signing him

Also 99% of football fans don't have to pay £60 for their tickets. We've got the most expensive tickets in UK.

Yes he is suspended. Guess that's why he started Sagna next to BFG in a couple of the pre-season friendlies, with this in mind. Shouldn't effect us too much hopefully, although on the down side, it means we are weaker at right back. Nevertheless it is as plain as day that our need for another centre-back is as desperate as that for another striker, if not more so. :banghead: :banghead:

Most expensive tim et story just isnt true.
Our tickets cost the same as Sperz and Chelski,
TinyTotts won't win anything.
Chelski wouldn''t sell out a game if Abramothief didn't buy a stands worth of to keys every week.
Both their stadiums are shitholes.

Just checked with the club over the phone this morning, they have confirmed that they currently do not have an agreement with Thomas cook, but are working to get something in place soon ... ????

WTF !!! did they not know that we will be needing some travel options way back when we got 4th spot ??

Cant find a flight for under £400, and yet they want us to go and support ?

I wouldn't expect the travel club to be any less than £400, they're always more expensive than travelling independently. Fact of the matter is, this is just an expensive trip. Peak summer season, popular holiday destination, 10 days notice...
