On the grounds that they rested there 3 biggest players last night and we have just run ours into the ground the answer is a resounding yes..... I think they will tear us a new one!
But don't worry... Arsene knows.

Tonight's game was a complete failure on AW's part in understanding the team we are. NEVER EVER EVER SEND OUT FLAMINI + ARTETA. That was mistake #1.

Mistake #2 was playing Flamini further up the pitch ahead of Arteta...I mean wtf? Flamini is 100x better than Arteta at holding. I'm seriously fucking sick of Arteta and his negative passing and inability to control tackles. He gave me a fucking headache today along with mistake #3, which is Carl fucking Jenkinson. This guy is seriously bad. Everything good that happened for them came from his terrible play. He's bad defensively and even worse offensively. I seriously cringed everytime the ball came near him.

Mistake #4, not playing Walcott. Period. The game was calling out for him and Wenger once again proves he doesn't know how to game plan.

Amazed Theo didn't get a run out tonight. Would have thought this was just the type of game to play him in really, as Napoli pushed forward and it's a big pitch.

Oh well. At least we're through and going to get a quality match in the next round 8)

Flam and tets played when we beat them at home and nobody complained, it's Wengers complete lack of tactics and a fu**kin plan that causes problems

Thomas is an Arsenal fan too - he wasn't gloating about our loss - he was celebrating that in the 87th minute they went from being out to top...

Thomas is a good guy, I don't think he's gloating.

With highest ticket prices. The main reason why we finish second. To earn more.
We all know they don't care about winning this. Qualifing is more than enough for Stan.

Would not class what he said as gloating, or wuming, his timing might be a bit shit though :-)

Agreed. What's more, that was a display of classic Arsenal complacency under Wenger in the last few years. Looked so comfortable first half that we thought we didn't even need to turn up for the second. Even when the writing was on the wall with them getting in dangerous areas time and time again only to spunk it away Wenger just watched on as we offered nothing in possession.

It was going to take a fine effort to not qualify so really what have we gotten out of tonight? A morale-sapping defeat with our only striker Tommy Giroud the Pinball Wizard playing the full 90 minutes and having a stinker, our skipper elect being sent off, Ozil playing another full 90 minutes and Cazorla looking off the pace again. Don't worry folks, you'll be able to catch them in action in two and a half days as we go to the team with the best home record in PL football for the last 3 seasons, who incidentally won away at the European champions last night with the ressies out.

Complete waste of the effort we have invested in the competition thus far now that we have zero chance of beating Real, Barca or Bayern and even if we draw Atletico or PSG will have it really tough.
