And by the way, Rosicky has the most heart of anyone on this team nowadays. He's not scared to throw in tough challenges and motivate the rest of the midfield who seem to be pussies at times.

I think AW was right to bring Jenks (our only other defender) when they went to three up front, but Theo off and the slowest player in the world coming on is crazy.
Also, Santi trying to defend out wide is embarrassing.
Jack was terrible, but the defence was excellent.

and Sagna

They needed to be with a fool for a manager
The most idiotic subs for a long time even by AW standards. The team did the travelling fans proud, despite him.

Crucial win. Defence redeemed itself after the Shitty debacle. Onwards.

Know it won't last and it's a bit sad but still did a good chant of we are top of the league alone in the house.

Now hope chavs/dippers get a high scoring draw 3-3 would be nice, couple of red cards a piece and rat-faced arm biter pulls a hammy.

WENKER YOU DULL USELESS *word censored* !!! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
We just did.
More by luck and the ineptness of newcastle than any defensive skills...wenker's substitutions were those of a fool.
Bollocks mate. That's how you win the title, by grinding out wins like that. We showed the mettle of champions today.
So are you sating you agree with Wenger's substitution choices? :?
NO. I'm crediting the team for a fantastic back-to-the-walls victory at a tough away ground.

Why the negativity! Newcastle have beaten Chelsea, Spurs and United over recent weeks and we get a well earned three points. I understand people's problems with Wenger but c'mon enjoy a victory for at least ten minutes before turning on the negativity!

Finally we have MEN at the back. I still remember the days of Senderos and that wanker Gallas.

Got to give the team massive plaudits for today. A great 3 pts that was made even harder to achieve when the substitutions effectively gave all possession to Newcastle. TR7 is an example to Jack on how you should behave when it isn't a match for the sublime.

Giroud/Cazorla/Wilshere/Walcott couldn't make any consistent impact on the game. Not surprising considering the form of the opposition and the scalps they have acquired this year in that stadium. In these types of games we need a moment of quality or luck and we got it. Great result

I think it's more to do with the frustration and bewilderment at wenger's subbing choices. But yes, Our defence definitley deserve the plaudits today...and 3 points especially away IS 3 points,

Anyway what a fantastic win. Chelsea lost here and Liverpool drew. Bloody hard team to beat at home. Top of the league. As for Wally substitution it was a bit of a head scratcher, but must have been a reason for it. Seems some are quick to blame Wenger for a sub that backfired but not so quick to give credit for this team he has built on a fraction of certain other teams budgets which curently is sitting top of the league. I don't dispute he's made errors in the past but were a better team this year and should put aside views of Wenger at get behind the team! You don't fluke a win at St James Park, nor are you top of the league after half the season by luck. Or others "underperforming" despite what one muppets on MOTD might say.

if we can keep beating the bottom 15 sides and earning the odd draw here and there then theres no reason we can't do the unthinkable- other than obvious mental blocks and the pressure that will inevitably get to us

Totally opposite of West Ham. That game we to chance after chance but couldn't see us putting any of em away. This one we hardly created anything but you had a feeling we'd stick it away if we got a sight of goal. Funny old game.
