The 2015 Transfer Rumours Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

John Cross says Sanchez is off.

i wonder how pod, ramsay, welbeck, ozil, caz etc would feel about that ?

not happy you'd think.
There'd be over the moon I'd think. he's embarassing the rest of them at the moment and there's no winning mentality so sooner he goes, the sooner one of the other layabouts has his place back getting paid some of the highest money in Europe to achieve nothing - which is actually celebrated as success

I will genuinely cry if / when that happens - and if Alexis does leave, wenker will come out with more and more lame excuses to the point where I'm sure some old school pwaper nawty Gooner razor head WILL lose it big time....and head for wenker

and maybe someone will get close enough to clueless twat on the touchline to rip up their S/Ticket in his face in front of the crowd and camera's - Now THAT would make good news coverage - a life ban of course but hey - that's the new modern day Arsenal.Co for ya.

It's not gossip - it's true. Arsenal definitely will not win trophies.

Sounds like the perfect Wenger defensive signing

1. Aged Under 21 - check
2. Unproven in English football - check
3. Available at a cheaper price than the numerous alternatives like Hummels - check
4. 'on the verge' of a call up by France - check

:
Aymeric Laporte

Mirror say he has a £34M release clause, not cheap.
And Man Utd are after him too.

But he can play left back as well as centre back which I think very useful.

http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football ... ic-Laporte

Never seen him play though.

Wenger to spend £24m on a player in a position we actually need. Other headlines in the paper include

"Man plaits fog"
"Girl treads in world's largest rocking horse shit"
"Spurs plan league title celebrations"

Wenger to spend £24m on a player in a position we actually need, only to convert him into yet another attacking midfielder. Other headlines in the paper include

"Girl treads in world's largest rocking horse shit"
"Spurs plan league title celebrations"

Great business. We are reinforcing VanGaal's transfer kitty on his mission to sign world class centre back. As we don't need one, I think this is very good business... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Arsenal and Manchester United have been handed a boost in their pursuit of West Ham defender Winston Reid, with the Hammers ready to sell the 26-year-old New Zealander if he does not commit to a new deal. (Times)

As the Hummels rumour gets assigned to the dustbin (or the likes of caughtoffside.com) the broadsheets know where it's at

We'll offer £3m. Sullivan, the simple-mminded pornographer, will call it "derisory" before promptly flogging him elsewhere 2 days later for £4m and we will be saved from "dizzying prices".
