The day that Mail Online gave up any pretence of journalism and started trolling itself.

What a steaming pile of arse waste.

What it almost certainly means once Giroud is fully fit is

(a) Podolski will definitely leave, and
(b) Welbeck's career as a left sided midfielder / wing back begins

Of course the fact that Welbeck left Man Ure because of point (b) will be completely lost on There's Only One

Considering United's lengthy injury list, a loss in this will really put Wenger up shit creek, and im sure the media will have the knives out. I hope we win, but wont be devastated if a loss puts more pressure on this wanker.

Giroud was crap before he was injured so how is he any better than Danny Boy now. Can anyone think of a single quality he has (as a player), that Welbeck doesn't ?. Nice haircut & speaking french don't count !. I still think this one will end up as a draw. ! - 1. :barscarf: :barscarf:

Wouldn't it be typical of Wenger - that we rip the manurescum a new one - by say oooh 7 - nil and bang goes all our hopes of an early(ish) exit... :banghead: :cussing:

He is stronger and holds the ball up better, But other than that no - and at least welbeck doesn't pull stupid dumb faces when he misses...

He is a better header of the ball than Welbeck, he's actually quite good in the air tbf.

Imagine if we looked for postponements all those times that we had diaby, tv5 and rosicky out injured - league fixture system would have gone into meltdown

On the plus side - a victory against the Mancs in a half decent Saturday night atmosphere could bring us the season's first chant of

ONE ARSENE WENGER.........THERE'S ONLY ONE ARSENE WENGER

everyone I have spoken to about this match seems to think that we will win this easily.

the AKBs have clearly forgotten about previous performances ( I really do think that these international breaks favour Wenger as the goldfish mentality of most of our fanbase forgets how crap he is after a couple of weeks)
the United supporters are convinced we will win
I even had a Chelsea supporter come up to me yesterday saying that he would be having a large bet on Arsenal as it looked a very good price. (it probably is but only because the bookmakers also know how crap we are)

I can see us getting a scrappy high scoring draw which ultimately will make both teams worse off but which both managers will be able to take some "positives" from

I wake up with a different feeling about this each morning...but the closer we get to kick off the more I just 'know' Wenker will pull it out of the fire...and we 'turn it on' (for a change this season)....There is one constant thouugh and that is and will be Alexis Sanchez - No doubt one or two manscum players will target him - Just like they did reyes all those years ago when he was well on form...and *word censored* Riley did f*ck all about....neville & scholes had a field day kicking him every time he went near the ball.

Just don't see it. We'll score goals but with our shit defence we'll also let them in. United also have the sign over us and in VG have a manager who does tactics.
Draw at the most for us.

not a hope we're winning this, im convinced that wenger just does not have the ability to beat a "rival" and never before have i been so conflicted over a big game!

Win and we get bragging rights over utd...which is good, but wenger gets another out of jail card..which is bad!

Lose and i dont see the down side....utd have given up taking the piss outta us its been that easy to take the points off wenger, and losing gets the media knives shaarpened for wenger even more.

How sad its come to this!
