Liverpool Away, our kid.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

is it cold on Merseyside?

The handbrake looks like it's frozen on!!

We desperately need to make a sub, get the Ox off and get Coquelin on to shore up midfield, it's non-existent!!

Has giroud won even ONE fcuking header ??

Don't like the BFG getting dragged out to midfield following their strikers - surely we should not be allowing that to happen ? :rubchin:

Nothing positive to take from this so far. Out-thought and out-fought.

Not at all convinced by Chamberlain as a central midfielder. Can get away with it at home to shite sides but lacks the discipline and reading of the game to play there when we haven't got 60% possession.

oxlade is having a mare.

why you cannot trust him to play in midfield.

their 3-5-2 can be bypassed if you are competent in midfield, we're not.

Anybody remember the veteran 5 a side indoor tournaments that used to be on tv ? The rule on that was that you had to keep one player in their half at all times and I think that it should be introduced into our gameplan - time and time again we have 11 men back defending corners and then we clear it to where they return it unchallenged into our area

Agreed. Chamberlain can be a genuinely class player I'mO but as useful as versatility is, he needs to learn his trade and excel in one. He needs solid game time in the same sort of role instead of being shifted about and then getting consistently benched when he's on form. And it's a stupid risk to take for the team to experiment with him in this role in this game.

This has been embarrassing, really have been no positives. It's currently a matter of time, thankfully they are ***** and haven't created anywhere near as much as they should have. Brad Jones is one of the worst keepers on PL squads, they could be playing Mr Blobby in goal.
