Victlms fc at home Sun 14th August

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I dunno why I thought Liverpool would be half decent, they are absolutely awful.

There's our striker problem sorted. Watch he'll have one or two decent games then vanish and end up riding the pine again.

Yep that goal ensures NO striker will be coming before the end of the window

The young CB out of his depth gives away the world's most pointless free kick a minute before the break and another free hit sails past Pete the Plank. Welcome to the new season

The ref is influencing this game more than any player.

Concede just before half time... so unlike us, we are normally rock steady at those times.

Who would have thought we'd dominate for 45 minutes and then see an undercooked, patched together defence concede a shitey goal to see it all undone

Breaking new ground this season

31% of the goals Arsenal conceded last season came from outside the box - the highest proportion in the Premier League.

Doesn't surprise me at all that statistic and a lot of them were preventable too. Watch Bolasie's goal for example......Cech's still going down for it now

Repeat: Past it 5 years ago no matter what 'clean sheet' stats are produced. The geezer was shit on the few occasions he played for Chelsea in the final season and despite the bravado there is no way Maureen would have sanctioned that sale if he didn't know it himself.
