Champions League determining line up Granit and Alexis benched after international exertions. Just pleased we took the points. Top 7 shaping up to pre season expectations. 4 way battle for 4th. Us, spuds, scousers, Bluenoses.
Southampton didn't allow us to play our game which almost always means we will struggle in the final third, so Perez didn't get any decent service. Especially with dumb and dumber on the wings. Had a few good touches and that was it.
Pass map shows it. Balls get to the brainless twins and then do nothing with it.
Well there it is; graphic proof that we do fuck all of use with the ball.
Tons of meaningless sideways passes between our back four and Cazorla. Walcott and Perez not in the game.

We were right behind the "penalty" and it was never a pen in a million years. Ref should've stopped play as Koscielny was lying right in front of Forster so definitely interfering with play. Ref was poor all game but that decision was woeful.
but was he interfering with fonte and giroud? it doesn't change the fact that fonte had a massive handful of giroud's shirt does it? koscielny was surely not interfering with that?
goals on sunday seem to think it was soft but probably correct decision, they made no allusion to kos being injured. i seem to think that fans imagine there is there is a law in place that says kos is offside but actually isn't.
edit: if this isn't stonewall i don't know what is
Totally agree mate - the pull on Giroud was a penalty.
But my point is that the game should never have got to that point as Koscielny was lying right in front of Forster and deffo impeding him. He was lying right where any keeper would want or need to stand and he stopped Forster from coming out to challenge.
If it had been the other way round we'd be furious to cop a decision like that.
And - I can't imagine Tony Adams lying in the 6 yard box if we were chasing a winner in the last minute.

I know grabbing an opponents jersey is illegal and a bookable offence but what about grabbing them by the beard???
