I watched a La Liga game at the weekend that had the pixelated “fans” and crowd noise and it was an infinitely better experience all round to the soulless shit I’d experienced watching a Bundesliga game in complete silence with empty seats catching your eye more than the play.

Have to say I rolled my eyes when I first heard the tv companies were introducing those effects but I’ll definitely be using them, such a better experience for the viewer than the alternative.

Firstly La Liga is shit. Get a grip ffs man.

Secondly - agreed 100% on fake crowd noise. Just watched half the villa game without it and it was awful. Just fucking weird and awful. Second half with crowd noise was more bearable.
