How can Arteta think Eddie is up to it, he's championship level at best, could have got a proper striker in the summer but instead we persist with him, really Wengeresque.
He expects Jesus to be fit, he's the first choice but the reality is, is that Jesus is not going to win us the league either. One goal in every 3 or 4 games for your number one striker is piss poor. And then Eddie as backup, a goal every 10 games.
Spot on so regardless of the Jesus injury the priority this summer was to buy another striker.
Instead we bought another goalkeeper
Martinelli had been poor as well, but Nketiah should get the hook. I want Havertz to succeed, but he has been anonymous again.
Can Smith Rowe get some minutes?
Martinelli and Tierney always work well together, every time Tomi gets the ball he keeps turning back and playing it backwards inside, rather than passing first time along the flank...That's why Martinelli went over to the right flank to try and get in the game.
Trossard for Havertz is the really obvious change but Arteta's love child will play for 80 mins in this game.....and most games, because Arteta absolutely loves him and wants him to pay back some of the 65m!!

Eddie????
Yeah Tomi hasn't been great either. I thought that the wingers may have been instructed to get central to overload.
I have to be honest and think that these new tactics seem to be shoehorning players and we know that Arteta is crap with subs.
Maybe he wil prove me wrong as a couple of players haven't been great.
