1 nil Everton from a set piece - put the fucking house on it :banghead:
Yep that donkey beto... written in the stars.

We should be dicking these teams by 3 goals...we never do anymore...all boils down to striker position.

Need Jesus on. Still plenty of time. We get one, we'll get three
We just need to shake ourselves out of the million mindless sideways passes and zero tempo football.
Yep. Five minutes of decent tempo and we'll score two.

Sky: “It wasn’t a deliberate touch of the ball by the Everton player.”

Also Sky: “you can see he wanted to block the ball.”

So therefore it’s deliberate, you fucking idiots.

“He didn’t mean to kick the ball that way.” “It was an accidental deflection” - are we really now looking to analyse the mens rea of a deflection?

Jesus fucking wept.

White and Gabriel...... First thought is always to go backwards, they destroy most of our moves. We don't have a central midfielder to pick the ball up other than Rice and Everton are on him straight away.
I agree that Ode needs to drop deep to pick up the ball and be the playmaker.
Saka seems to have no balls anymore, never tries to beat his man. Fucking frustrating. Definitely need Jesus on as we need to go past defenders to open them up

Saka invisible in a game where we’ve absolutely dominated the ball for 45 minutes. There is zero justification for starting him he’s form is in the bin he’s been completely overplayed in the last 18 months.
Yeah but there is nobody else - or maybe you would prefer Havertz to take his place?
Nelson, trossard can both play that side. Ignoring trossard being on for martinelli...

The worrying thing is this - we have had a very easy start fixture wise to this season and looked poor in every match

The game is crying out for Smith Rowe. At least he would have tried a couple of shots.

Sloppy in a couoem of games and lack of cutting edge is the issue we haven't been bad. Team selection fcked us over in the first 3.

The made up offside has Tomi being stamped in the face vibes about it - hope this game doesn’t turn sour for us like that one did.

Do they not have a better quality version of that “Everton” song? It sounds like it’s been taped off the telly.
