As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Salah signs a new contract and immediately turns to shit. Alternatively he is injured and out for months. We keep on keeping on and win the title by a point by coming up on the rails at the end.
Perhaps the glaring problem with this prediction is that it’s Saka who is factually injured and out for months.
I’m afraid we ain’t catching the scousers chaps. The points difference would be very difficult to make up even if we had quality goal scorers up front. Without them, there’s no chance. They’re the guys that win you the points when you put in a poor performance. Perfect example is Vardy. Take him out of that Leicester title winning side and they probably wouldn’t have managed top four.
We've hardly played well all season, had shit loads of injuries and a lot of bad decisions from officials but still we're right up there in the PL, in a great position in the CL, semis of the Carabao and a plum home tie against Utd to come.....a sign of champions!!

Come on the Arsenal
And that’s why Arteta has the safest job in football ….
He's got some big issues Rob but we are in a pretty decent position now, in fact we are on the cusp I reckon . Who the fuck comes in? You're more likely to get a Ten Hag than a Pep! I can't think of a manager I'd want right now.
I'd still try to sign Arda Guler on loan from Madrid, superb player and a direct replacement for Ode who is way off the boil at the moment

Ode has a new born. I would challenge any new father to he turning up to work 100% in the first few months.

I'm wondering what age you are and what you do for a living? Few people used to be able to freewheel after a kid was born and depending on your job and the responsibility/expectations, it wouldn't have been an excuse for not being 100% for "months".
As for footballers, given the age demographic, most of them are knocking out kids and not turning up and giving 100% is unacceptable. Fuck me, time was that supporters wouldn't have known when a player became a father and wouldn't have cared. I still don't fucking care. Congratulations Martin, now shape up on the pitch.
Sorry we won fuck all again, we had some serious injury issues, some bad refereeing decisions and Odegaard had a kid.

Just looks the type that will be involved at home. He’s not exactly Kyle Walker is he?

Straw man argument, nothing to do with Kyle Walker. He's a professional footballer, earning bundles to give baby Ode a privileged life, so keep his end of the bargain and reward the people paying his wages by giving no less than 100%.
Never heard such a daft argument. The whole world have babies, but most aren't in the position to consider not working to keep the family fed. Talk about 1st world problems....a phenomenally wealthy man, who can fund all sorts of support and care for his wife and baby, can't give his best at work. Hardly as though footballers don't get plenty of free time to be "involved at home". Luckily, I haven't heard any players come out with this bollocks, so let's hope it's just you.

He’s clearly on top form pal. Just can’t stop scoring and assisting since becoming a father. Must be up for the Ballon D’Or. You are right. I am wrong.

Nice wumming, but straw man nonsense again. Where did I say he was on top form? Oh that's right, I didn't. What I don't accept is that a player is not performing, so it must be because he's a new dad.
Partey must have have knocked out a whole first eleven given the way he's been performing the last 2 or 3 seasons. How about Martinelli, kids??
Not as though we haven't seen Odegaard off form previously is it? Of all the excuses for a bloke being off form, that's hilarious if nothing else. I sincerely hope it's not true, because as excuses go, it's unacceptable.

Wumming? Suggesting a reason for someone playing poorly recently is wumming?
