Atalanta arsewipes A Thur Sept 19th KO 8pm

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

At least he’ll have earned his wage this week for a change
Don't be so sure Roddaz, his hand probably moves as slowly as he does..... No joy there!!
Still, at least he could tell you about all the world class hand jobs he delivered at city

That brain dead fuckwit got away with it tonight but he’ll fuck us over Sunday guaranteed - he just can’t help himself.

Odegaard's Absence Was Glaringly Obvious... No Creativity from Midfield to Attack. Also The Press was non-existent. NOT Good. :?

Appreciate its a pretty meaningless game but ps me off how meek we are in the CL. Atalanta may have won thr Europe but there actually pretty crap personnel wise. Absolute failures and liabilities in the PL being first teamers...come on..

We must habe a mental hoodoo on thr club to play so wan in European away games. Same since 98, bar the one final run.

I didn’t watch the game but I was able to see the double save on YouTube.

How poor were we? (Honestly?)

Good training match to stretch the legs before Sunday. All good

One way of looking at it I suppose.
Conserve energy, don’t concede and take chances. Achieved 2/3. We could’ve gone up a few gears but it wasn’t necessary.

We created enough to nick a goal. 1-2 goals in this at best. Bar penalty, we kept our discipline. We clearly had more in the tank but there was no need to take risks. We should hopefully be sharper than City on Sunday as Inter gave them a hard time and they seem to have lost De Bruyne to injury.
