Back to winning ways, (apparently) thanks to a late equalizer being wrongly ruled offside. Looks like they've found that missing ingredient!

no, the decision was correct, his head was off. the rule is a goalscoring part of your body has to be offside, and it was quite clearly tbf.

That's news to me. A few years back there was a big song and dance about giving the attacking player the benefit of the doubt in offsides, are you now saying that this rule has been revised? It's an almost impossible job for the linesman, slow mo replays showed KN's body was level with the last defender and i thought that rendered him onside.

HN is right. I just hadn't seen the replay and was going based off what BBC live text said. A stray boot or head mean you're offside.

I thought they made a change a few years ago that said a player had to have daylight between them and the last defender to be considered offside? If I recall correctly it was designed to promote more attacking chances in each game.

last night the three players who LVG deemed "not good enough for united " won a penalty for Real Madrid, set up one goal for BVB and dominated their midfield in the away win over Anderlecht, and scored a hattrick for Arsenal.

After their next game against West Brom, they've got the Chavs and City and I expect nothing less than 3 goal defeats in both games......after that they'll come to our place short on confidence and we'll go out there and give 'em a damn good.....
