Wenger is not going to get rid of Giroud, he's only recently signed Welbeck (and hardly ever moves players on quickly) and he seems keen on retaining Theo... and surely Theo won't want to stay if we sign a striker.
I also worry that Giroud's 2015 goals + Theo's timely hat trick and cup final goal is more reason he won't sign anyone.

The complete lack of ambition is comical - wouldn't pay the money for Dybala, wouldn't pay the release clause for Martinez. Both vastly superior to Le Carthorse.
I think you can also assume no new midfielder will be coming in, as Coquelin has now been elevated to Vieira level for basically being the only DCM we have. I feel Cech will be the Galactico signing, and all those AKBs who claimed since he had loads of cash Arsene would sign "one huge star per summer" will be left with their dinkles stuck in the Emirates turf...
Next season = no title challenge (as per the last decade then!) as this club isn't about winning under Le Tool and the Yank. Top 4 is the summit! (Oh and the FA Cup)...

Best thing for Wenger to happen would be for United to bid 50M for Kane and City 40m for Sterling as he would then have licence to put faith in his squad (which you know he wants to do) and hide behind the inflated market.

And that IS stretching it big G....as someone has already said...Theo's hatrick - and Giroud's occasional goal - will be all the excuses wenker needs to not sign anyone....
We need a defensive MF - But seeing as Coquelin has done well - again another excuse for wenker - even though we all know (regardless of whether he is still playing well) Coquelin will get injured at some point - welllllllllll it's a new Arsenal tradition isn't it - and so we will have no DMF proper - and without proper cover we lose another 4 games to put us permanently 12 points behind the chavs - and clueless will do fuck all.....and so the agony and the hell continue - Groundhogging us to our graves or when Clueless fucks off...and we get a proper manager - someone who knows and does Tactics - who actually buys payers in those positions we actually need, instead of more tippy tappy lightweights and isn't afraid to ask the board for money and investment in players, a manager who will sell any players not worth a light - and dump the baggage (like clueless should have done with Diaby, Bendtner, denilson, et al)
I will be surprised if we sign anyone other than a GK...and if we do it needs to be petr cech or Lloris.
