As much as I like reiss nelson and want to see him given a chance, I really do not see the logic in giving him a 4 year deal - yeah I cant that argument about being able to demand a higher transfer fee when he has a few years left on his contract, but surely that will only apply if he is getting game time and doing decent with us, and if that is the case we surely wont be selling him anyway ? I've said it here recently, but the transfer and contract business side of the club is not giving me a lot of confidence lately

He will hopefully get some game time in PL, league cup and FA Cup. If he can rack up 10-15 games then we should be able to get a decent fee for us.

I think since the dark days of Raul & Co I have a lot more faith in Edu now. He has brought in mostly good players and renewed contracts without fuss. Now he needs to show he can sell well.

Would Zaha come here to warm the bench? No.

Would he score more goals than jesus in the 9 ? Serious question. He has played a lot in the 9 for palace in recent seasons and scored a lot of goals, and whilst I wouldnt be opposed to signing him, I would prefer that we sign an out and out goal scorer to upgrade jesus

Think he'd be doing more than that. Lets see how Martinelli gets back from injury, and I also go back to the question I raised last year when people on here were celebrating our Europa League exit......how do we expect to get through a CL/PL double challenge season, and maybe even have a run at domestic cups too. Regular at Palace, squad player at Arsenal aged 30 - no brainer. Apparently he's in discussions with PSG and I can't believe for a minute he's considering himself a regular there
