As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
How about we wait and see before we start throwing Teddies, Edu and hopefully Arteta have learnt over the last 3 years in terms of transfers and even with the end of season collapse the team performed miracles last season. Some of you really seem to underestimate last seasons achievement considering the average age of the squad was something like 24 and a lot of those players were inexperienced when it came to the high level of expectation and pressure they were under.
Also Xhaka......
Some of you seem to think it is only us against City in the coming season but the one thing that you seem to ignore is that all those teams that had awful seasons this year will likely improve next season and that will put pressure on us but will also create pressure on City. With the exception of us City had an easy run at the league last season and we fell at the last hurdle. If as mooted by some this Shitty team isn't as good as previous then it stands to reason they wont have as easy a time next season if we are not going to
Anyway chins up you miserable gits we have as much chance as any of the others if Arteta/Edu get the signings right and in all probability they can actually see things that us armchair wallahs can't.
|| According to Simon Phillips, a source has informed him that Arsenal have a bid prepared for Caicedo regardless of the Declan Rice transaction. The source also say that financially, this is the best Arsenal has ever been [Via - @SiandDanTalkCFC].
I've no idea who Simon Phillips is,but he has a source

Ethan Nwaneri’s schoolboy registration ends this month & there are serious doubts he will sign a new deal at Arsenal. Chelsea are competing with Manchester City in particular for his services, while Manchester United are also in the hunt. [@TheAthleticFC] #afc

Mbappe will have to take a bit of a hit when it comes to his wages.
Unless he goes to man city
Sort of think he's missed the boat a bit with all of this. Signing for PSG a few years back had some attraction with the idea that even though you'd have to play in a shit league against shit teams, you'd get loads of money and have a good chance of winning the Champions League. After a decade of spending inordinate sums of money, all Mbappe has is a few French league titles and cups which is the equivalent of winning the third tier in England and perhaps the Papa John's Vans Windscreen trophy. This is probably all due to the fact that PSG play in a completely shit league which had absolutely no relevance.
He's an incredible talent but is now in a tough situation where nobody really needs him. There are about three clubs in the world who could afford the stupid fee and wages and he wants to leave one of them. He's like one of those houses you see on those property programmes that could have been sold for stupidly high price two years earlier and now can't be sold because everyone's moved on.

All last season pundits bemoaned the lack of a proper goalscorer at the chavs, and now we are linked with the guy that played most of their games as a striker ?? Honestly even being linked with this guy is embarrassing cos he is a downgrade on what we already have
