Spuds are defo a mediocre outfit, no question. One thing I shall say is that their manager on a tactical level, is Arrigo Sacchi whilst we have Le Cock Sportif, the tactical French equivalent of Bob Le Plonker
Somehow as mentioned elsewhere, Pocchetino has somehow managed to get 3 pts off Jose, scoring 5 against him. Le Cock Sportif will never, ever beat Jose! 2 wins in 9 v Koeman  He's a joke, regularly outmanoeuvred by managers with far less resources. Pocchetino didn't get beat by ManYoo when they showed up at their place either. Despite having a wage bill over £40mil lower than ours, his team sit above ours! We spent far more dosh than them over summer too
The fact that we have ppl showing off that we may finish ahead of Spuds is indicative of what a farce we are. Beating the Spuds in the table is the new trophy! And I thought they were supposed to be obsessed with us
It's simple really: Pocchetino has faced Chelski, Citeh, ManYoo, S'oton, and West Ham ie the top 7. They've gotten more points out of the top 7 than we have - we've beaten one top 7 team all season!!!
A better manager would have us competing for the title with our resources and wage bill - instead, it's back to whacking off into the egg-nogg about pipping Spuds to 4th. That's what we moved bloody grounds for
:banghead: :banghead:

Its funny because all my mates who support the scum, say he doesn't have a clue.
By that logic, Wenger would have fluked at least one result against Mourinho, and yet he hasn't, says how shit Wenger really is.

Spurs are shite. It clicked for them today but they are shite. They're basically on the same number of points as us but people's views are distorted by the respective expectations. And they have been outrageously lucky, players getting stupid red cards and fluking last minute wins. They are complete cack.

But here is the approaching issue, the board may feel quite content they can placate enough fans to keep Wenger in a job by way of our perennial 4th place trophy, and the token appearance in the CL with never a hope of actually winning it.
After all we are constantly told there are other clubs who would love to be in the CL every season.
The players however, will have different priorities. I am not talking about players such as Arteta, Flamini or Mert, happy to keep taking their comfortable salaries to ease them into retirement, or the emerging talent such as Wilshere, Ox, Chambers, and Belerin, they are no doubt sold the same promise of jam tomorrow, as we all are.
Nor am I concerned about those average players who know they would struggle to find a club that pays salaries like us, Monreal, Chesney, Kos, and Giroud (yes Giroud) and will stay until their contracts expire.
I am thinking of players such as Sanchez, Ozil, Welbeck, maybe even Podolski. They have all played under top coaches, know the feeling of winning major trophies, try selling them the dream of winning several Wenger trophies and the annual brown holing by the first decent team we meet in the CL knock outs. That and a domestic once every 9 years.
Once they see through Wenger's complete lack of tactical ability, or knowledge of what a proper defender looks like they will not hang around.
My guess is 1 or 2 have already sussed him out.

Don't know how you can keep going round the country mate. I enjoyed Villa away as a rare away day and an even rarer convincing win but couldn't justify the money, time or anguish of doing it week in week out.

What are we then? Considering they sit above us and spend over £40m per year Less on wages? :rubchin:
The other point is, when was the last time we beat a team managed by Mourinho? Or, more pertinently, when was the first?
They're shite for sure but we are shitter! Beaten at home to ManYoo, we stand zero chance v Chelski. The fact we are below that bang average Spud team says it all...

For what it is worth; I think we will (again) finish both in the top 4 and above Spuds.

Neither of these means fuck all though; we are still turgid to watch and won’t win the European Cup nor another league title until there are wholesale changes at the club.

Starting, of course, with the removal of Wenger at the earliest possible opportunity.

I didn't even think we were that good at Villa tbh  They simply fell apart for 3 mins and we took advantage. They were equal to, if not better than us for the rest of the game!

Agree mate, it was a bizarre game really. Only one that comes remotely near was beating the scum in 2009/10 where it was a pretty tight game and 45 seconds later we were 2 up and coasted to victory.

I don't think we will make the top 4. In the past we have been shit against the top sides, but able to beat most of the lesser sides, but look at this season, and we have struggled even against the bottom of the table sides. In the bottom half now are Leicester, Hull, Everton, Stoke, all sides we couldn't beat this season.

Clueless on motd.
"They defended better, it was the difference".
No shit Sherlock, are you saying the team that attacks and/or defends better will invariably win the game?
I would never have thought of that.

Tbf, you can see Arsene is a winner, who feels every defeat intensely. The pressure on his job must be unbearable for him...
