I'm not saying I would lose respect for the guy but I know if I was one of the players I wouldnt be 100% behind him and would feel that his agenda would no longer be that of the rest of us.
I am looking at 30m vs another 30 goal season. I do not believe in club to buy adequate replacement. I do not think so we are going to have any issues with RVP commitment. If that is the case, none of the transfer deals make sense.
Even that Nasri scum gave his all 2 days before leaving for money city.

Nasri was shit for 6 months before he left   In fact check back and you will discover that he was mostly shit for the 3 years he was with us except for a golden spell from august 2010 to jan 2011

Van Persie can't take his foot of the gas though as he will be playing for a mega pay deal.

Cesc could sulk as he knew it would drive his price down which is what Barcelona wanted.

Nasri played well against Liverpool to save his own skin.as everyone knew he was off, he never gave his all more kept everyone off his back.

Arsenal are keeping a close eye on Malaga's 22-year-old Venezuelan striker Salomon Randon, who is reportedly valued at £20m by the Spanish side.

Felt Fabregas let us down last year, I never doubted his commitment to the club before halfway through last year but it was clear his heart wasn't in it. He was a disgrace in the Nou Camp claiming he was injured, I expect him to run himself into the ground until he pulls up if that's the case, not a 90-minute well-below par training performance. Brilliant player for the club and left his mark but for me he tarnished himself last year.

Agree about Nasri, he was distinctly average for all but 5 months of his career here. What fucked me off was him complaining about the team being able to keep up their early season form again when he was the main culprit :banghead:

In some ways though it annoyed me more Clichy won the league this year. Nasri is a prick but he is a talented player and everybody can see that he was a bit-part player and won't last at City unless he changes his attitude and they change their formation. Clichy was without a shadow of a doubt the worst permanent full-back I have seen in a long long time at Arsenal, and now he's going about implying that he left Arsenal for bigger and better things as if we were holding him back. A terrible defender who would regularly play strikers onside (criminal for a full-back) and was clueless positionally, couldn't cross and never scored. Gibbs isn't a great player and gets injured at the touch of a feather and Santos is an overweight liability but I was still glad to get shot of Clichy.

Clichy was a good defender when he came into the team initially and looks a good defender since he went to citeeh so you work out where the problem lay in that inbetween spell

It is a seriously shit thread alright, Flash...

But I did hear from one of Herd's "contacts" in the City (an ex-hooligan sort that is now a mega-rich stockbroker but still keeps it real most weekends :box:  ) that we are about to sign a new accountant on a three year deal which is just awesome. Looks likely to line up beside Ivan on the marketing side of things. Rumours that he is a 18 year old kid that dropped out of a minor University in France are yet to be confirmed...

Clichy still suffers from a lot of the same problems he did at Arsenal. Its just his CB and wingers can cover for him. Let's not forget for the two QPR goals that nearly cost City the league, he was at fault for both (I know Lescott fucked up as well)

I could have swore I heard or read somewhere that all our business would be done before the start of the euros.

So either

A. Podolski is it :banghead:
B. There is goin to be a shit load of signings today and tomorrow
C. They meant the other "business" and there is a septic tank somewhere full to the neck with "business"
