I can see your point but that is no reason to vote Brexit, because Brexit is just going to make those people EVEN POORER!
If people are struggling to pay for food today then good luck next year as prices rise due to the pound now being so much weaker.

it is quite sad how the poor and ill educated have been brainwashed into thinking voting Brexit will solve their problem, when the real reason for their problems are the massive cuts made by the Tory government.

And just when you thought the title of OG Brexit patronising buffoon had gone to Nutflush ,another mug comes in and scoops thre trophy in one go !

Congrats a Herculean effort there !

In the short term there will be price rises, however as things stabilise and when we finally leave and lose the 8% ( I think ) surcharge on goods from outside the E.U perhaps things will improve. The current problem seems to be that despite the fact that little has changed the financial markets are reacting as if the sky has fallen on their heads. We are still paying our dues to the E.U. and as such are burning at both ends of the candle.

perhaps???

again this is what brexiteers come up with.
They THINK things MIGHT IMPROVE. Funnily enough they cannot give any reasons BECAUSE THERE ARE NONE!!

Remainers meanwhile KNOW that things will get worse, and can already back this up with FACTS.

It reminds me a bit when people started to question whether Wenger was right for Arsenal. Those people KNEW that Wenger had taken Arsenal as far as he could, meanwhile the slight majority kept on thinking that he might turn things around...

What will you guys accept as evidence? Do you want a personal introduction to everyone whose job has moved abroad. The government minister responsible for financial services has said that banks are very likely to lose passporting rights. He is trying to get "equivalence"
He added that an alternative system that’s been floated, known as equivalence, was probably not going to be "good enough" for banks.

Garnier elaborated on why the system known as equivalence, whereby London-based banks could keep operating in the single market if British and EU financial rules are compatible, “wouldn’t necessarily work.” Many international banks, he said, would regard this equivalence with suspicion because the status can be withdrawn at 30-days notice.
“It is entirely possible that we will just have to adopt the rules of the EU as they come down with regards to financial regulation,” he said.

I know we all love to hate them but this really would be an extreme example of cutting off your nose to spite your face.
The sector paid an estimated amount of total taxes in the region of £66.5bn,
or 11.0% of total UK Government tax receipts (2014: 11.5%).

I was at a leaving do last night for someone who has just accepted a job in Singapore due to his job uncertainty.
Not only was he concerned about losing his job he also wanted to be able to afford to travel which he likes doing. He thought that due to the falling pound this would make this far more expensive in the future.

so here we have two FACTS
1. Job uncertainty
2. Falling pound

two facts which are already happening. further FACTS will of course come to light should Brexit actually happen.

Uncertainty isnt a FACT!! Its a fear yes but not a fact

Currency rises and falls all the time this isnt a fact either, if it fell and stayed as a low level for a prolonged period of time maybe but you cant call it a fact yet.....

maybe not but that is like an AKB saying 6 or 7 years ago that it isnt a fact that Arsenal will never win the league with Wenger in charge.
in 6 or 7 years time when the pound still hasnt risen to pre June 23rd levels will you be prepared to call it a fact then?

I am sure a Brexiteer will also be along shortly saying how wonderful it is about the new Nissan deal.
the thing is how much have the governmnent had to pay them to make sure this happened? If Brexit had not happened they would still have invested without this extra payment...
