Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Timber would be a good signing, so good that even Arteta wouldn't axe him! Great to see us branching out into the Dutch league again, we've finally twigged there are some good players there.
Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
It's all getting a bit exciting, all these names we're going for and teams like Bayern and City are sniffing round the same guys rather than Villa and Everton looking at the same players as us! We've hit the big time.........or Arteta has already started his 'I almost signed' book to try to top Wenger.....

EXC
Arsenal are on the verge of completing the signing of youngster Pedrinho from Corinthians. Corinthians' president Monteiro A. met with Arsenal's sporting director Edu yesterday to discuss a move involving the 17yo. There is a £43m release clause in his contract. #AFC
Understand Arsenal are advancing in talks to sign Roméo Lavia. Negotiations ongoing with Southampton and player’s camp, still no official bid
#AFC
Southampton hope for their record fee for U21 player.
Man Utd interested but priority is Mount; Chelsea, keeping close eye.

Rice
Havertz
Timber
Lavia
If we were to sign those, would that be it? Perhaps a LB if we sell Tierney.
I still think we need an out and out forward as well, unless we keep Balagun.

It only took 5 days to come up with a bid the whole world knows (with the exception of the Arsenal board) will be turned down.
He's going to City, isn't he.

Things moving quickly at Arsenal. Second Declan Rice bid submitted. Progress made on Kai Havertz, Chelsea need it done before June 30 when they submit financial records. Talks positive for Jurrien Timber, reluctance to meet £45m Romeo Lavia valuation. #AFC
