Frenchy Le Bartón having a "psychological" at The Arsenal today. Similar to a "medical" but determines how fucked in the head you are. Frenchy is expected to pass with flying colours. 8)

Sorry mate but that's such a stupid thing to say.
Why is it? They are a fucking useless, blind pile of steaming shit, just like the medical team, just like the board, just like Wenger.

We're linked with Diame, who went on a free to West Ham last summer, players like Jageilka, Lescott, Fellani, who we've been linked with in the past, all should have been snapped up before they joined Everton, it certainly isn't a stupid thing to say that our scouts are crap!!
So where do you draw the line with that? Are you annoyed we didn't get Rooney before Everton picked him up as a kid? Looking at those Everton players you listed - they were all unproven until they signed for them. You'd have probably hated Arsenal for signing them for that very reason.

Newcastle took a gamble on Ba and for the time he was with the club it paid off. Why didn't Chelsea just sign him before Newcastle instead of waiting and paying £7.5M?

Arsène Wenger has confirmed his interest in the Napoli striker Edinson Cavani but has denied submitting a bid to Crystal Palace for their in-demand winger Wilfried Zaha.

Wenger, asked about speculation linking Arsenal with the Napoli striker, who has scored 16 Serie A goals this season, said: "Cavani is a player that I like. Will he cost a lot of money? That's for sure. Nobody would deny that. [But] our banker lives just next to me at the moment and he is ready if we find the right player."

On Zaha, he said: "We are looking at him, but at the moment we have not made any bid for him. I don't know if Manchester United are in for him. Anyway, if you call any club for any player, they will tell you Man Utd, Milan, Real Madrid are as well in for him, but it is always difficult to know if it is true or not."

Wenger said he was happy to play a waiting game in an effort to secure his targets at the right price. "The prices always go up at the start of the transfer market and go down in the last week. Sometimes as well they go up in the last week, but it depends. Most of the time they go down in the last week and you know as well that 90% of transfer activity happens in the last week, if not in the last 48 hours."

He also revealed that he is now "99% certain" that a contract extension can finally be agreed in the coming days with Theo Walcott.

Walcott would have been a free agent at the end of the season, and the club have been in negotiations to agree terms on a lucrative extension which would make him among the highest-paid players at the club.

"I was scared at some stage, yes, that he could leave because it is like that with the experience I have in negotiations," Wenger said. "When things last too long, it is never a good sign. In this case, it took us some time to get where we want to get. It is still not finalised, but hopefully it will be done by this weekend. There is a possibility. My optimism is at 99% now."

And when they were up they were up
And when they were down they were down
And when they were only halfway up
They were neither up nor down

You're conveniently missing the point here, when were we linked with Rooney? I'll explain again, the players i've listed we've been linked with AFTER they moved from their respective clubs, they were no-brainer signings, hardly unknowns, but no, Wenger would rather pay money to his homeland league for more shit like Gervinho, Kos and Giroud!!

For a tight bastard like Wenger and our club it surely makes more sense to take a punt on these players before they make their name in the premiership at a lower cost, we hardly ever scout in the lower divisions and leagues in this country.

I completely disagree that Jageilka, Lescott and Fellani were no-brainer signings before they signed for Everton. You’re comparing players we should have signed in about 2006 with players we signed in the last couple of years. We had different needs when those players were transferred to Everton.

Is Jagielka really better than Vermaelen? I personally don't think so. Yes, Vermaelen is rash and goes through patches where he makes regular fuck-ups but does also have a lot of positive qualities. I have no doubt that Jagielka would be made to look a fool at times if he was in our defence. People are quick to praise Moyes and how he can organise a defence much better than Wenger, is it really that their defenders all have more ability than ours too? Mertesacker has looked a mug for a huge proportion of his Arsenal career so far but just look at what he's done at international level and tell me he couldn't be part of a solid PL defence. Had we signed Jagielka we'd be complaining about him.

Regarding Lescott, Everton took a punt on him given that he missed Wolves' only PL season with a knee injury. Anybody else hear that was down to a run-in with local gangsters?

I know that 99% of all transfer rumours (not just our's) are total shite and I know that skybet is irrelevent too but they have us listed as 6/1 favourites to sign ashley young ( ), 5/1 favourites to sign nani (you can fcuk right off with that one  ) and 10/1 third favourites to sign stewart downing (behind north east giants sunderland & boro).......What.The.Fcuk is that all about ? Stewart Downing is the type of player that if you won him in a lucky dip you would throw him back in  I have spent most of the last two seasons royally taking the piss out of any victims fans I know about Downing (and henderson tbf) and the fact that we could even be linked with the useless c**t embarasses me

Yup! most rumours are utter shyte...and those HAVE TO BE - Coz if we did sign any of them I personally give Inspector Clueless a right good kickin' Three useless pieces of shyte - and we have enough of those in our squad as it is: ramsey, squillaci, arshavin, ramsey(he's that bad I've named him twice), flappy, mannone and diaby.

We need a Holding(nasty MF'er leg breaking mid-fielder), a goalie and a "Striker" someone who can turn a half-chance into a goal - someone like RV aaahh yess hold on...  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
