Manchester City expected to submit an offer to West Ham for Declan Rice today. #MCFC have serious interest in recruiting 24yo England midfielder + it is anticipated a formal bid will be lodged soon to rival Arsenal for signing @TheAthleticFC #WHUFC #AFC

🚨Man City’s total package is the same value as Arsenal’s recent package, but with better payment terms and more achievable add ons. Despite this interest, I am told that Arsenal are willing to match any offer made by Man City in an effort to stop a potential move in its tracks.

Arsenal are finalising plans for Kai Havertz's medical. It will be in the coming days. Club ready to do it abroad if required. Personal terms in place and Havertz will sign a long-term contract with Arsenal.

Any chance we can organise someone to break both his legs before this medical ? I'm sure we could organise a whip around to fund it

You can only assume that City are going to offer Philips and 50m odd for Rice, just for Rice to take Philips place on the bench. Rodri and Rice in midfield makes no sense to a team like City who normally play with one combative midfielder in Rodri? But I suppose it stops us from getting him and that's Chelseas old tactic of buying players your rivals want just to stop them getting their man!

Well it's time to show some bollox now Arsenal, are you going to be embarrassed again by falling 5-10% short on a transfer fee for a top player?

Manchester City have decided to bid for Declan Rice after calling West Ham last Friday to be informed 🚨🔵 #MCFC

Man City also checked player’s side — understand Rice is open to any move so deal depends on the clubs now.

Arsenal, planning to bid again since last week. ⚪️🔴 #AFC

BREAKING! Two "big" offers are expected to be made for Declan Rice today.

Arsenal have already made two offers, which have both been rejected. Manchester City & Manchester United are also interested.

If we don't get Rice then as far as central midfield goes, we'll be fucked for next season because the Chavs are going to get Caicedo, United or Liverpool will get Lavia and we'll be left hoping some mickey mouse 20 yo Spaniard from Sporting Huevo in the Spanish 2nd division turns out to be the new messiah.

*Actually, I wouldn't mind us going for Onana at Everton, he was awesome against us last season.

Apparently havertz can now play in FIVE different positions, so maybe he can play in rice's spot ? :rubchin:

If Havertz ends up as our main signing then our stay in the Champions League won’t extend beyond this season.

Regarding Rice we now either
1. Don’t get him or
2. Pay well over the odds for him

Not sure what the best outcome there is really.
Again it’s City distorting the market though.

The Club are being made to look very silly again. Repeatedly never learn. Unforgivable. Amateur hour for the 20th season in a row.

Arsenal pretend to be a big club but don't actually have the balls to do what they say/really want to do. They talk a good game about competing with the best but they want top CL players on a 6th place budget.

The club are doing a very good job of making themselves look silly...as usual.
