THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We are out in the market and we are working very hard every day. All our scouts and our people are working very hard to find a defender.
Just a thought but shouldn't our scouts have already identified the targets ?
You know, from the summer when we sold TV4 and would " certainly" replace him

So all the dossier's and reports are already done - we just need to do the tricky bit of submitting an acceptable bid.

Unless Wenker is looking for another project ?

Really and truly our inactivity is shameful when you consider the farcical shortage of defenders we have in the club
Instead of buying a quality centre back or defensive midfielder to go into the team, this French c.unt will look to buy cheap back ups like reid or mings or the 17 year old we bought today - as I have said a million times before, le cock doesn't want to buy genuine competition for his established players in case it leads to unrest in the squad. In his eyes it is better to have cheap back ups who know their place in the squad and wont ruffle any feathers of the "senior players" who can then relax and play better football as a result - how can one even begin to jusify/explain that logic ? :banghead: :banghead:
Agree. Latest deal that he made is perfect example of that as you said. Bielik himself said in an interview that he is not ready for first team just yet. The following day our leader goes to press conference and tells all that he gives Bielik first team call right away. I mean, what the fuck is this. Another promising young player to be destroyed or what? What is actually agreed here as these statements are totally opposite. Well of course, first team call doesn't necessarily mean that he actually plays but only trains with them, but still...

Wenkers statements about our activity and actions in the transfer markets are beyond laughable. I will probably never understand why he has to embarrass himself and the club with all this bullshit about working days and nights. Everyone knows that scouts should be working whole time after summer transfer window to find the right targets. Once the window opens, the club opens the official negotiations and deal is done. This is how professional clubs are doing their business. I mean, fucking seriously! I'm sure people at other clubs are laughing their asses off hearing these wenker bullshit statements.

For 8 million quid a year, I'm sure he has little to no concern embarrassing himself at every given opportunity.

It's the AKBs I wonder about who continue to get eggs smashed against their faces every time they pipe up to defend their lord and master only to be embarrassed by him when he invariably leaves them out on a limb in heavy gusts of wind.

Latest, they have were busy trying to shut down objective fans who saw this signing for what if was. Now that their lord has made it crystal clear this is our DM position sorted, bet the fuckers will add a new spin telling us to be patient and that this kid could be the next Cesc. No, they won't say the next Wilshere, though they'd have liked to be able to say that.

i can't work out if Koeman is having a pop at wenger after every game or advertising for his job. last week he was saying their third place was built on defence and 10 clean sheets, and tonight he said this :
They know exactly what they have to do, and even when we do not play well we keep the organisation and that is the key to being successful."
and, on Reed as DM :
It is not always about playing football, sometimes you need a player in that position to keep the balance in the team and he did that fantastic."
its almost like he's goading wenger.

they are nice to watch. not the skill we have but simple n neat.

wenger is now saying "the transfer market is not like a supermarket, you can't just buy a defender...."

erm...yes, yes it is . if you need a player, you pay the asking price and you get him - that's kind of how a market works...

and another fantastic lie " there are not many players that would strengthen the top 10 sides in Europe"....

as we never make it past the last 16, we can hardly consider ourselves in the top 10 can we ?????

:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

saw this in the Mail comments though :
What's the difference between wenger and my grandma?

One is delusional, can't do their coat up and has no balls. The other is my grandma

did you watch them play today ?

6pts and 9 goals ahead of us - on a fifth of our budget.

he seems like a competent manager - can you say the same about wenger ?

He deserves all that, he and his team has been that good whole season this far. Arsenal on the other hand... all the resources we have... Wenker doesn't deserve anything else than your cock in his ass.

Your logic on things makes no sense, You don't like when anyone compliments Simeone either, is it because these managers are showing Wenger up with less resources? If you want to judge someone over a long-term basis, lets judge Wenger. Since the FA cup win of 05, he has won 1 trophy, and failed to finish in the top two, never mind not winning the title, but I doubt you will offer coherent response as really there can be none, WENGER OUT.

Don't forget to whack yourself into oblivion if Le Cock Sportif manages convincing home wins against Stoke, Newcastle or Burnley!
Don't ever judge him against the Big 3 clubs mind (Citeh, Chelski and South Coast oil money Southampton!)
