THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Despite a bit of a wobble over the last month Chelsea are 13 points ahead of us and we're in 5th. The players should view that first and foremost as a huge failure.

Trouble is NB they won't - Because of the cosy ickle nice happy dappy tippy tappy enviroment they are cosseted in by Wenger they really DO see it as success.

I seen that - is there nobody at all that can have a word with the c.unt and get him to stop spouting this bullshit ? Even his buddy DD, should be having a word in his ear and telling him that he is making himself look like a retarded c.unt everytime he talks about superstars that he "nearly bought"

shewore is reporting this morning that there are stories coming out of the club from two sources that wenger had nothing to do with saturdays formation, set up and style of play - apparently bould met with the senior pros at a meeting they called in the week, the jist of which was "listen, we are not going up there to get dicked again, what do you suggest ? ".

i'm a bit sceptical but it would make sense - coq did seem to be organising the midfield during the game, which struck me as odd for a squad/bit part player.

the AKB's of course are furious, still believing that after 17 years wenger had an epiphany.....

I So Hope that is True - It would mean that Wenger is losing his Power Base and that the squad/players - Now know him for what he is - Clueless.

OH! PLEASE GOD - PLEASE GOD - LET THIS BE TRUE - LET THIS BE TRUE!

Yeah, I'm sure Wenger had "nothing to do with saturdays formation, set up and style of play"

Hahaha, love it  Bring out a book with some of these lines in, you'd coin it in

And maybe by the time it's written and published in several years we'll have won another big game so that you can pipe up again

He definitely had nothing to do with Saturday's performance seeing as we played on Sunday.

okay, lets pretend wonga did alter our formation, set up and style of play last Sunday - what is the AKB theory as to the timing, and why not before ?

i mean....why not after the hammerings at liverpool, city and chelsea, why did he not do it at Everton ?- where we got hammered. again.

or maybe at home this season to united ?. when we lost. again.or perhaps a 'difficult' (for Wonga) away game like stoke, southampton or dortmund ?- where we lost. again, again and again.

i'm fascinated as to what the akb meme is, so please enlighten us pal

That story does seem to be confirmed somewhat by le cocks comments in the daily mirror article :o What does it say about the man's ability to manage this club anymore ? When the akb ask "who could do a better job than wenker", just tell them that any one of the players who told him to change his tactics for citeeh away 8) The man is a lame duck and even his own players no longer buy into his bullshit
