I think I’m going to take a box of laxatives and come back for the community shield
Away in sunny Spain with the Roddaz mafia at the minute so gonna position myself by the pool bar for the day to sample some of the local brew. By 6pm I’m going to be steamed up to my eye lids with sangria and have transformed into the chief Declan Rice ultra of the OG forum

Do you know what the saddest thing is Bobby P? Was walking the harbour last night and all the tourist shops were full of knock off city shirts something you’d never have seen in years gone by.
I got all melancholic about the beautiful game, shirts of city, PSG and the club rapey Ron plays for in Saudi everywhere.
Game’s gone.

Poor old Madison.
Some awkward tweets about hating the spuds has arisen.
I'm not tech savvy enough to upload the photo from my phone

I’ve never seen him dominate a game or single-handedly drag his team over the line. The guy is bang average and I’ll forgive city 15 of their 115 counts of cheating if they sign him.
In an alternate universe he remained an Irish international and is worth 25 million tops.
What a fucking waste when that money could have been put to much better use strengthening the team.
Him and Havertz?

nut flush gooner wrote: ↑Wed Jun 28, 2023 8:35 amHe will make our midfield, and unlike Partey he isn't injury prone. Proper hyped about getting him. This is the biggest signing in decades if we can get it over the line. If City get him forget the league next season.rodders999 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 28, 2023 8:24 amDidn’t see that game (international football, especially qualifiers bore me to death) but I have seen him play tournament football for England with top players all around him and he’s never stood out for me.nut flush gooner wrote: ↑Wed Jun 28, 2023 7:34 amDid you not watch Italy vs England then? Granted what I’m really basing my opinion of him on is the countless amount of games for West Ham I’ve seen him play and never once did I think fuck me he’s absolutely outstanding we should do everything to make him our record signing.
If he joins I’ll be fully on board and as with Havertz will really hope they both go on to bang at this club and lead us to success but if either go on to be any more than bang average (which is what they’ve been any time I’ve seen them in the premier league to date) I’ll be fucking amazed.

As for forgetting the league if City sign him, it will make no difference because he'll be getting splinters in his arse on the bench. You seem to have an incredibly high opinion of this bloke, which you're very entitled to, but I think it might be best to prepare yourself for disappointment.

We love a Chelsea Pensioner at our place. Can't we find out if Peter Osgood is available?

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Looks like it will happen thank fuck! Our most important signing since Sol came to us. Wenger been crying out for a DM since Paddy. Having a guy in front of you like Rice will help the defence no end, he'll also be another captain because he'll organize and bollock. Massive massive signing (if it comes off). Arsenal needed this. If we get Timber as well..... And then Lavia, the game is fucking on for next season!!
Still worried that we have no decent striker but if we sell Eddie and Balogun we may just end up with someone good..... Let's hope!!
