THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Large Gin and Tonics all round then !
Indeed......

"If you look at how many teams have done that in Europe, you will find very few and that shows it is not easy," said Wenger. "It is a massive satisfaction because I am so many times with my back to the wall, accused of not spending fortunes.

"It is important as well to show that we can do it, with the way we do it, that is with the club in a good financial situation and with the players coming from our youth development. There are many different ways to be successful and I am very happy that our way is one of them."

Wow what a f*cking retard

I am seething with rage.

It's a massive satisfaction
No shit Sherlock!!!!
6.5m a year, no requirement to win anything and free reign to do whatever you want at the club!!! Why would you ever walk away from the dream job?
I hate to say it but my passion for hating Wenger far outweighs my passion for going to games these days

Just qualified from CL group for 13th time, gloryhunters just moan we won't win it
Batter Sperz 5-2 for 2nd consecutive season, more moaning.

If football made me as sad as it makes you lot I wouldn't bother.

Let me get this right. ANYONE that is concerned by our repeated failure to win any silverware for 7 years, and that doesn't celebrate deliriously the fact we have made the next stage of the CL, and also knows we won't win it because of our manager's failings.... is a gloryhunter...

Seriously one of the most stupid comments I've ever read on here.

No, not anyone, just many of the miserable gits on here
wanting more is absolutely reasonable,
expressing hatred for one of our greatest ever managers
who has done a key job for the club over those seven years, is pathetic
