(cazorla btw isnt a forward, he is a cesc/nasri replacement a year late)
One man team?

So Koscielny played no part at all? Or Vermaelen? How about Chesney? And remember how useless Arteta was..?

He was a talisman last season, every club has one. Doesn't mean we're a one man club. Also, I was saying Carzola was a replacement for RvP, just saying that we have no idea how he and the other new boys will gel. Yes they could be shit. But they could be amazing (Something no one on here seems to want to accept). Is it so hard to be optimistic?

Remember, the dutchman has had one good season. What's the guarantee that, if he did sign a new contract, he would have another?

P.S "Unwanted". Unwanted by who exactly? As I recall, Chelsea were after Giroud and the Scum wanted Podolski, as did Lazio. And Malaga seemed desperate to want to keep Carzola. Unless, you ment to say YOU don't want them. If that's so then speak for yourself.

So he's gone

£24 million

No refund
No return
No exchange
No warranty

Sold as seen.

Not bad business for a 29 yr old in the last year of his contract. The most he will do is probably 2 years but given his chequered injury records its hardly ever imaginable. Fuck off you jumped up ungrateful *word censored* i hope Frimpong does you one and you spend 7 fucking years in the treatment room. And to the Manure neanderthals, here is hoping that they also sign a top class physio to treat this *word censored*.

With this news, it just makes me appreciate the loyalty of the football God that was Dennis Bergkamp at Arsenal.

RVP isn't fit to lick his bootlaces.

Along with Cesc he was one of the few last remaining world class players at the club since Henry left. We knew that, and you best believe he knew it too. He knows he should have been surrounded by better than Diaby, Denilson, Squillaci, Almunia, Ramsey, Gervinho....
But Dan that's the whole point. Cesc was a world class player who carried the team for a hell of a lot longer than van Persie could ever claim and so given that plus the fact he wanted to go back home means he'll always get a warm welcome back from most fans. But who the fuck does van Persie think he is acting the Billy Big Bollocks after one tremendous season. Yes he's world class but what he did was say that everyone else in the squad is shit, I'm top dog, do what I say or else...and all this after one season.
Yep, Arsenal and Wenger aren't blameless but from what I can see 3 half decent players have come in and if he brings in another then what else did van Persie want? It's all bollocks from a selfish wanker who shat on us by joining a rival.
Fuck him and anyone else who thinks they're bigger than the club :banghead:

Part of me wants to get to the stadium right now and express my anger that our best striker is sold to ManUre, but part of me thinks that £23 mil for a one season wonder who's about to turn 30 is quite good bussiness. :?

If truth be known RVP didn't leave for more money, or for a better chance to win some trophies/medals before he's too old, it's because after having had his best season ever - since he began kicking a ball - he knew the odds of him getting injured had increased and that meant he would be placed in the hands of Arsenal's INfamous Medical Team...so you can't really blame him...

tv made many errors likewise ches. kos and arteta did well, but RVP completely carried this side. when he was off form our form was poor. without him top half would have been an acheivement.

BS those clubs were after those players. even the crap peddling british papers were not linking these guys to others, and the always do that even if there was a sniff of interest.

chelsea were never in for giroud. as for pod, lazio, top club these days, sperz, really?

cazorla as i say cesc/nas replacement a year late. not a forward.

rv didnt have 1 good year. you dont get to 8th in all time scorers list by having 1 good season.

last year we had one striker, one who when fit was proven top class. now we have 2 one more of a winger who failed at a top club and international record upon analysis isnt that good (look against whom and what competitions he has scored his many goals), who most germans dont think is worth his place in the national side, and a fnch striker with one good season in a weak league beside hi who sits on the bench for an avergae france national side.

i fail to see how we are stronger in attack.

If he wasn't interested in money why did he demand the same wages as Rooney? :?

1) And RvP made no errors at all. All season. No errors. Riiight...

2) Yes, other clubs wanted these players. It was reported and the players spoke about this interest. With all due respect, I'm going to take the players work on their career more than your word aren't I?

3) We are no worse off in attack without RvP.

It's like you WANT us to fail.

course money was a factor, it always is, but imo it wasnt his prime motivation. no one, however much u say united won the same us last seson, can deny he has a hell of a more chance of winning medals there than he does here.

1.yeah read my post again pal, did i say rvp made no errors? in the very first sentance i said when he was off form the teams form was woeful.

2.please send me links where these players state this (prefarably before they signed for us as players come out with all sorts of BS to endear them selfs to stupid fans). or newspaper reports from reliable sources, and not just one offs.

3. simply untrue. stupidest statement ever written possibly. rvp nigh on 30 goals last year. 2 strikers never played in this league before and never done it at the same level as rvp to rpelace him.

as for wanting us to fail, no, rather i can see whats right in front of my eyes and wont bury my head in the sand and pretend all is well when it clearly isnt. i dont have blid faith in this club and manager and will tell it as it is. rvp may be a *word censored* fo leaving, but he was right about the ambition of the club and his loss without replacment is a hammer blow. big clubs dont sell there best player and captain every season, especially not to supposed direct competitors. but then again united are not our direct competitors and havent been for a few years they are a step above us now. we are a joke club and a laughing stock, and will be so long as fat profit is consdiered more important than on pitch success. nothing will change until kroenke and aw go.
