As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Well, Draxler certainly fits that category. I'm unsure as to what might happen on this deal because of all the rumours that have sprung to life in the last 24 hrs. It'd be great if we did sign him.

Fingers crossed.

Don't get the desperation to sign Draxler.

I mean he is a special talent and even now at 20 he reminds me of the Russian Andre in his pomp before he got lazy here but why are we desperate to have him now.

With the right guidance this kid could be something really special. He can beat a man, not easily knocked off the ball, can see a pass and has an excellent shot on him.

I know AW is trying to avoid a summer auction if the kid is a shining star in Rio, but he's not what we need right now.

We are not like the chavs who can afford to buy a player just to stop anyone else getting him. We need to account for our spend and right now a striker and covering CB is what we need. FFS we had no covering CB's on the bench today. If Per or Kos or both at the same time get injured then we are well and truly screwed.

Now wenger got to sign someone :barscarf:

What s this Monday press conference for?
Why all the journos got an email for?
Aren't the journos part of the problem? They sit there in the press conference knowing that we wont win the league without signing a striker, but say nothing. How hard is it for a journo to say something like, with your main striker having less than 10 goals in the league this season, surely buying a striker is of massive importance. Instead, they prefer to sit there, and let the messiah talk shit, and not question him on it.
This.

Fucks me off how they don't get stuck into him and pressure him to answer more questions about transfers and how we desperately need 1 or 2 to be serious challengers!

...Fuck Off, Wenger!!!
Surely, just surely he isn't serious when he is talking about Sanogo coming back to improve the squad :banghead:

And she'd be 10x nicer if she revealed on deadline day that Arsenal had signed a quality striker, chances of that though

I've already voiced my opinion that it should be the official "Nobody is coming" thread !

The "nobody is coming thread" is definately not coming, due to Rodders prematurity

Oxford City's French goalkeeper Victor Francoz, 23, is in trouble with manager Mike Ford after injuring himself falling out of a tree while trying to rescue a cat.

Full story: Oxford Mail

Apparently Fabianski tried this....but the cat slipped through his hands and got away
