Looks like it will happen thank fuck! Our most important signing since Sol came to us. Wenger been crying out for a DM since Paddy. Having a guy in front of you like Rice will help the defence no end, he'll also be another captain because he'll organize and bollock. Massive massive signing (if it comes off). Arsenal needed this. If we get Timber as well..... And then Lavia, the game is fucking on for next season!!
Still worried that we have no decent striker but if we sell Eddie and Balogun we may just end up with someone good..... Let's hope!!

Partey was woeful in those last 6 weeks (when he was needed most) and I wont pretend otherwise, but prior to that I would say that Partey was immense last season, and imo he pisses all over rice as a pure DM (rice is better going forward)

Official, confirmed. Kai Havertz joins Arsenal on £65m deal from Chelsea — medical completed over the weekend, he will wear number 29. ⚪️🔴✅ #AFC

First signing sealed. Next one: Declan Rice.

You’ve got to feel for James Maddison. He’s put all that work in, was priced out of a move to #Arsenal in 2021, and has ended up at Tottenham after being relegated. The poor lad can’t catch a break. #AFC

I’m told he’s a proper prick and Arsenal never really wanted him. Flash, arrogant, lazy. Nothing we wanted there. The media linked him. We were never interested. To the extent that there would have been a player mutiny if we’d ever signed him.

🚨 The pursuit of another midfield player is likely to depend on outgoings & how much Arsenal are able to generate through sales in the coming weeks. It is expected that Arsenal’s attention would shift to selling players such as Thomas Partey, Folarin Balogun & Kieran Tierney. The likes of Rob Holding, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Nuno Tavares, Charlie Patino, Cedric Soares & Auston Trusty could also potentially leave the club this summer. [@SamJDean] #afc

🚨 The capture of Declan Rice, if a club-record deal can be finalised as is now expected, will not represent the end of Arsenal’s efforts to reconstruct their midfield this summer. It is understood that Arsenal have been exploring midfield options to sign alongside Rice before next season. [@SamJDean] #afc

I'd hold back from blowing me muck all over the forum's tits there Bobby.... we've heard this every summer since 1978.

But also never forget flushing Lobotomy Clive down the shitter is far far more important than ANY signings. You flush that used tampon down the drain and we instantly become a better team. Fucking instantly. 8)

Normally the cash hose has resembled one of those atomizers you water indoor plants with. This year it has come good though. :barscarf:

Agree totally, well said. Also it was only ever the media that linked us with that Tielemans. I don't think we ever wanted him either. useless pair the both of 'em.

Arsenal have added Aurelien Tchouameni to their list of transfer targets.

If Arsenal fail to sign either Brighton's Moises Caicedo or sought-after Southampton youngster Romeo Lavia, they will test the waters for the Real Madrid midfielder. [@jac_talbot @Transfersdotcom]

Honestly you should read the Declan Rice thread on KUMB. They are all rooting for him to go to City. Never knew their hatred for us tbh. Absolutely Spurs levels of delusion over there. They are fucking shite and yet they think this BacoFoil Trophy has made them relevant. Absolute nothing club.
I've just read some of it, they want 100 million plus Balogun or tierney or 100 million plus mahrez are two highlights
To be fair to them, there's a balance. Yeah some fans are bitter, given we have been through the same especially early in the Kroenke's tenure you kind of understand how they feel. But there's also some pragmatic fans, giving balanced opinions even if they don't like Arsenal. They are another London club after all. Personally, I don't have any problem with West Ham fans known quite a few down the years they are ten times more bearable than Spuds or Chelski fans.
