Re: Abou Diaby - Injuries Thread
As horrible as it sounds I'd rather see him get injured again if it's the difference between him getting a new contract or not.

Giving this mug a new contract is a sign of weakness in front of all our rivals. It would also send a signal to all the players that it doesn't really matter what you do or whether you are even fit, you'll get a new contract. Giving him a new deal makes a mockery of the effort put in by every other player at the club over the last few years. Quite frankly, decent clubs don't have a Diaby on their books if they don't need to.

I think Wenger needs to see he's actually damaging diaby by keeping him here, if you love someone sometimes you have to let them go
This league is physically too demanding for a lot of players never mind one who needs to be carefully rehabilitated. he should try his luck in the MLS, they have some of the best medical treatment in the world and the football is nowhere near as intense.

That would have worked better if you'd added in something like "... and has been confirmed as Wenger's son."armchair wrote:OMFG!!!!!!

Just felt a twinge of sadness.
Shit, out for 3 months.

Re: Abou Diaby - Injuries Thread
Nothing sums up our clueless manager more than Diaby.A rough estimate he has taken £12m in wages out of the club in the last 9 years.Nothing short of a disgrace when you consider how quickly Wenger got rid of Eduardo but kept Diaby giving him new contracts
What about Sanogo he should have been released......................out of a plane over France

I hope SteveO has someone with him today for support.
Perhaps an AA (Abou's Anonymous) meeting?
