Either that way or under the little known rule T.O.1.A.W :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: which states that "any team that has qualified from the Group Stage on more than 15 consecutive occasions automatically qualifies"
Fixed.

OK, sorry, here's the UEFA link, from uefa.org

http://www.uefa.org/mediaservices/media ... 56122.html

UEFA Europa League further strengthened for 2015-18 cycle
The UEFA Europa League winners will be granted access to the play-offs of the subsequent UEFA Champions League season. The UEFA Europa League winners could even gain direct access to the group stage, should the UEFA Champions League title-holders also qualify via their domestic league, thus freeing up a place in the UEFA Champions League group stage. As an effect of the UEFA Europa League winners qualifying for the UEFA Champions League, the current limit of a maximum four teams per association will be increased to five.

Of course.

Beat Monaco, get the winner from Basel/Porto in the next round, and we're in the semis.
Win it this season, and I think/hope AW would retire.
All the more reason to hope for a couple of lucky games between now and May.

4th place, and the Champions League, enough for Wenger to call it a day?

No chance of him winning it. Getting to the semis of the Champions League, finishing second or third in the league - no difference between the two when you're going to eventually be around 10 points off the eventual champions - and winning the FA Cup again is about as good as I can see it getting this season. In all honesty that would be great season had we had provided a title challenge that lasted till April at the earliest.

When the season is over, Wenger will blame injuries on our inability to challenge for the title, like last season when apparently having Ramsey would have meant we weren't stuffed by Chelsea, Liverpool etc

We have lost way too many games with poor decision making by wenger its annoying to see us loose to lesser position because of negative tactics

and the AKB"s will accpet it - ignoring as usual that our injury record has been horrific for at least four seasons now, and that wengers training methods are responsible and he is responsible for that.

an interesting photo in the Mail of Mourinho's management team :

Image

he has six coaches and the physio alongside him at every game. the bench at the bridge is designed for them.

look at wengers bench - Bould and Akers (the kitman) or the physio, one of whom has to sit behind :

liverpool - six coaches and the physio :

southamptons - five coaches. and some extra chairs . LOL

Clockender, does any of this actually surprise you? Wenger only has an assistant manager, so someone is there to put out the cones. No other team would allow their backroom staff to become non-existent, but at Arsenal, every decision is made by Wenger. Imagine someone with a strong personality becoming assistant manager(instead of silent Steve), that person would be gone within months, when they realise that their opinion isn't respected.

yes it does.

i checked and Mancini had five plus the physio at City, and Pellegrini has four plus the physio.

i have to wonder what goes through wongers mind before and after the games when he's shaking hands with six or seven coaches, does he not stop to wonder what they all do ?

and when he's at these FIFA coaching jollies does he not notice other clubs refer to their Management TEAMS, or recently their 'Technical Teams' ??????

I also just noticed this - look at Liverpools official first team squad photo :

now look at Arsenal in 1994 :

and then look at Arsenal in 2014 with the trophies :

OMG, please dont post that sort of pic, I genuinely felt ill looking at that lesbo twat peaking out from the bench  :banghead: :banghead:

All it proves though is that he has a huge hold on the club, which we mostly all know anyway, not sure necessarily having all the coaches etc sitting there is always helpful, many hands vs too many cooks argument.

Just when you think the retard in charge couldn't get any worse, he now says we could have done better in Europe over the years if he hadn't taken the FA cup so seriously!!

I fucking give up, really I do :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Heard that TeeCee so ahd to check it out..Un-fucking -real.... :banghead:

Daily Mirror Today
..Arsene Wenger admits his obsession with the FA Cup has affected Arsenal’s Champions League bids over the years.

The Gunners boss leads his team into battle against Middlesbrough as favourites to land the trophy for the second successive year.

But Wenger, who beat Hull in the final last season - Arsenal’s first trophy since 2005 - believes the club could have done even better in Europe had he not taken the FA Cup so seriously and fielded strong sides every year.
