Lay off Arsene! Maybe the reason he didn't do better in the CL was because he was busy battling FA Cup powerhouses like Stoke and Blackburn! As well as being distracted by the mighty Bradford in the League cup
The guy is a total joke, a massive bullshitter and a Loser. His press conference where he straight up dismissed any suggestion that our repeated injuries could be down to his prehistoric training regimes was farcical. And then this morning I read him say this:

""Our basic is always to finish in the top four and then win a trophy on top of that," said Wenger, whose FA Cup success last term ended a nine-year trophy drought.

That's the words in black and white: his first objective every season is 4th place!
We all knew this of course but the AKB has always denied this saying "where's the evidence@? Well here it is!
We moved to the Emirates to aim for 4th. This c*** got a new contract to battle off mighty Koeman and Rodgers. Unreal.

Let me know the day you hear Jose, Ancelotti, Pep, or Simeone say that their first objective going into a season is "to get a top 4 place". That's never even a fucking consideration at Atletico these days, it's a given. Arsenal's wage bill and transfer spend means that 4th place should never even be discussed. EVERY year the objective has to be winning the league as a priority, then winning the CL. Absolute DISGRACE. Yet some morons chant his name after we've thrashed some two-Bob team at home. :banghead:

yes it does.

i checked and Mancini had five plus the physio at City, and Pellegrini has four plus the physio.

i have to wonder what goes through wongers mind before and after the games when he's shaking hands with six or seven coaches, does he not stop to wonder what they all do ?

and when he's at these FIFA coaching jollies does he not notice other clubs refer to their Management TEAMS, or recently their 'Technical Teams' ??????

I also just noticed this - look at Liverpools official first team squad photo :

now look at Arsenal in 1994 :

and then look at Arsenal in 2014 with the trophies :

:rubchin:

He thinks to himself " I have 30 years experience in football , they have six coaches.. I win "

We have to accept that we are a high end Newcastle now and that won't change as long as wiggy owns the club

It made my blood boil when I read what Wenger said but he gets away with it because he is never directly challenged on these comments.

Like most of us though, I still have vivid memories of him not taking the FA cup seriously because of the CL. Its not the other way round ffs!

That 4-0 defeat at Old Trafford in 2008 when 9,000 of us travelled up for a late kick off was a disgrace because the team and manager were clearly not interested in that game. And dropping Arshavin a year later in the Semi final because of some mental twisted Wenger logic about wanting his players to know they could win a big game without him was as unforgivable as it was stupid. Then there were insipid defeats to the likes of Stoke, Sunderland and Blackburn etc that defy any claims of taking the competition seriously.

To be honest, there was probably no need for me to post this as everyone here knows this crap already but we can add the above to the long list of his blatant fucking lies / re-writing of history from that detestable bullshitter.

Exactly - all of those cup games you mention were dire. The Blackburn one - we were already virtually out of the CL but shit for brains decided to rest players in order to chase the impossible. For years we threw away the cups so how he can come out with this line of defence now is unbelievable really. He pissed the League Cup up the wall this season too which still fucks me off

So wenker the know it all Wrecks another player......

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31477494

Wenker admitted himself - weeks ago - That Alexis was in the "Red Zone" and yet continued to play him - Even when we were up against teams that we didn't need to play him....

I do wish some journo would call wenker on this - he gets away with doing what he wants whilst saying and claiming otherwise - He is a master of lies and untruths - Someone needs to call the *word censored* on it...

Wenker knows full well that without Alexis we would be mid-table at best - He says he is in the "Red Zone" - yet insists on playing him...Why? because he knows as do we that Alexis is the player that has been saving his bacon....Cunnt.

(BBC Website) "Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted key player Alexis Sanchez might be showing signs of fatigue in his debut Premier League season.

The Chile international has scored 18 goals in 32 Gunners appearances, but Wenger felt Sanchez "was not himself" during last week's win over Leicester.

Sanchez went off with a knee injury which makes him a doubt for Sunday's FA Cup tie against Middlesbrough.
"He had not the same intensity in his game as he had until now," said Wenger.

"I'm not sure he was free in his head to sprint as he used to. I don't know if it was down to the kick he got on his knee, but he was not himself."

Wenger, however, insisted Sanchez's injury was not a major concern and said the 26-year-old - signed for £35m from Barcelona last summer - could even line up against Boro.

"He has a swollen knee and he cannot move well, but it's only a kick, nothing else," said the boss.

How stupid can he be!?

Wonga is fooking killing our players, his outdated training methods and his stupid decisions to play players when not fit is another example of this senile old cu*t ability to fook us over for another season. :banghead:

Very constructive post, you'll get a lot of fans on here with such reasoned, well argued opinions. Well done.

Must say the key players performed well today and the whole team played with great spirit. They all looked pretty sharp and fit to me as well. Maybe you just caught them on a bad day.

Tbf Wenger admitted bringing Ramsey on the other day was a mistake an also opined that Sanchez was suffering from fatigue.

Also, we're marred by injury season after season and Wenger has been the one constant throughout. Obviously something is fundamentally wrong with the club and given how stubborn Arsene is he probably does employ archaic training methods.

You knw I was thinking...

We all give Arsole a hard time about playing Santi and Ozil..

But since of late I am not too concerned if he starts both. Throw both on the field, they will sort themselves out.

Looking forward to see more line-ups comprising:
Santi
Ozil
Sanchez
OG

Having said that, can he Arsole just win us the FA Cup, qualify us for CL (most we can hope for as far as EPL is concerned) and do hs best to make the team make a good impression in current UCL...

Then RESIGN (even move upstairs) at end of season?

Peace

More chance of the Pope denouncing Christ than Wenger resigning after back to back Cups and top 4.

Wengers quote about the fa cup is probably true. He's won it 5 times and lost 1 final and 4 semi finals. The champions league is easier to win than the fa cup. Clough never won the fa cup, bob paisley never won the fa cup. Busby and shankley won it twice. Winning a 6th fa cup would be another achievement in which Wenger will stand alone. Personally, I hope he gets it as well as the champions league as none of the big teams in Europe are waltzing their leagues. We could sneak both this season.
