Re: Natalie's Deadline Day Titfest Thread
Would Draxler score 15 league goals between now and May? No, so not needed!!!!
Re: Natalie's Deadline Day Titfest Thread
Isn't Draxler injured until March? How will he help to win the title then? By March it will be all over, virtual trophy hunt again. And if we add treatment from our medical team, it's the same if we buy him in summer...
Meanwhile Chavs are closing in on Costa and we sit there and do nothing.

Moyes in November:
"As regards Ozil, we weren’t close to buying him but something was mooted (to us). We didn’t need that position at the time. It was put to us and it was just something at the time we didn’t need.
"We had Shinji Kagawa and Wayne (Rooney) and people of a similar ilk so it wasn’t quite what we required at that time. We were looking at different positions."

Re: Natalie's Deadline Day Titfest Thread
If Moyes overlooked Ozil he's a stupider prick than I thought. Although I can only imagine the laughter on everyone's face when some pissed-up Scotsman turns up to try and persuade a footballer on his ilk to come and play for him.
Meanwhile the farce of the loan system continues - Cardiff are set to sign 3 PL players on loan which may well make the difference between them staying up or going down. The whole system is just a complete joke. You've got Chelsea who have an entire squad's worth of players (24) loaned out with all of them having virtually no prospect of first-team football ever. Farcical situation whereby Citeh were paying Adebayor £100k/w to play for Spurs in the same league (which is still continuing until the notional end of his Citeh contract I understand).

Arsene Wenger is poised to raid the UK Border Agency twice this summer in order to bring highly-rated youngsters Joel Campbell and Wellington to the club to solve Arsenal's striker crisis.

Chelsea have refused to comment on speculation that Juan Mata's switch to Manchester United included several pairs of incontinence underpants coming the other way. However, sources at Stamford Bridge have claimed that Jose Mourinho is desperate not to be caught short again when Arsene Wenger rings on 31st Jan asking to borrow a striker for a few months.
Much like Mata, the incontinence underpants have seen their importance diminish this season after being required weekly last season by Alex Ferguson at the thought of Arsenal selling them the title in August 2012.

Couldn't agree more about the loans. Also, Everton getting plaudits despite borrowing Barry and Lukkaku from teams above them. Good luck in the summer when you have to fill those gaps in the team again.northbank123 wrote:If Moyes overlooked Ozil he's a stupider prick than I thought.
