I just edited my post to include the fact that TM is not actually unelected. She was elected by MPs. Those people who were elected by the public to take important decisions for them

Hypocrisy my arse.
What? When you went to the ballot box in 2015 you was voting for your local MP and effectively David Cameron or Ed Milligan. TM didn't even come close to the equation, TM is a totally different politician who has different views to DC, so how can you say by proxy you voted for any default Conservative that might have the good fortune to walk into Downing Street thanks to the EU referendum, and another Conservative (Andrea Leadsom) who shot herself in the foot before they even got out of the starting blocks.

This government in no way has the mandate of the British people, just like Gordon Brown didn't. Quite amusing how the goalposts get shifted to satisfy the Brexit argument.

Well go crying to the mods like you usually do then. I am only telling the truth.

For a start, I would never "go crying to the mods". I have know idea why you would think such a thing :?

Secondly, if you truly believe that I am completely deluded that's fine. It's your opinion. But don't state this as fact. You are not actually "telling the truth".

Personal insults have never won any arguments. I suggest you take a deep breath and calm down.

You, yourself said that we elect our MPs to make the important decisions that "we are not qualified to make".

They made one of these important decisions. They elected TM as the new PM.

No goal posts have been shifted.

A half hearted apology is no apology.

Democracy is democracy. When you say that "we, as a nation, are not qualified to make this judgement" you are saying that we should leave decisions to those who know better than Joe Public. This idea is great for fascists and communists. And is very rewarding for the unelected people who control the EU. The rest of us prefer to actually have a say in how our country is governed. We have a stab at this every four years or so. Our latest opportunity to vote was far more important than the usual. You disagree with the outcome. Tough.

There is absolutely no way that you can prove that the outcome will be a bad thing for the UK.
:rubchin:

You know you have an unelected woman in your country that has the power to dissolve your democratically elected parliament, right?
This. And the irony that seems to be lost on brexiteers is she's a vehement remainer, at least before she was gifted the position of PM. Unelected Europeans are scum, unelected UK PM let's just conveniently turn a blind eye. The pure hypocrisy.

I believe we're referring to the little, old German woman who lives in Buck House.

Reminds me of one of my mates. A part time soldier. He was supposed to meet the queen during a demonstration of bomb disposal. He was supposed to say good morning your majesty and then answer any questions.

During rehearsals he said to the pretend majesty.........."Morning Liz. How's the old Greek bastard?".

Needless to say he never got to meet HM :D

I can personally confirm that we mods have never received a complaint from olgit about any other poster. There are members here that do complain about other posters (some every time they get into a spat) but olgit ain't one of them. Not that it matters really, every member has the right to contact a mod if they feel they have been abused or bullied, but I just want to clear up that allegation.

If we warn people about insults or abuse it is because we mod the forum. We read it all and try to keep the rows and anything libelous etc to a minimum.

Interestingly there was a member here (now gone) who used to act the hard man and was fairly regularly WUMing, provoking rows, insulting people in a snide sly way that was hard to ban him for... but he was also constantly PMing me to whine when others took the bait and had a pop back at him. Arsehole.

Well you are the person who in his capacity as a MOD felt the need to out me as someone who said something discriminatory against older people which I did not, whilst ignoring half of the other borderline stuff that has been said. I am not going to point any fingers because I wan't the debate to continue. It would take a seriously racist comment like that from Brightonxround whatever his name is to get me annoyed, and even then I would flag it up in forum not behind closed doors.

"out you" i did nothing of the sort mate. I quietly and in a friendly manner asked you to stop with any ageist comments via pm after i received a complaint. as far as im concerned no one else in this discussion even knew this took place

Now youve brought it into the open forum i'll say it again as i did in the pm to you - If you see any racist or unacceptable behaviour please flag it and us mods can have a look and decide best course of action

Yes but I didn't say anything ageist, at worst it was tongue in cheek yet you felt the need to send me a PM. Sorry thats not Moderating imo.
