The market is strangely quiet Augie that’s for sure, but the closer we get to kick off the more it will ramp up. The last 10 days will no doubt be crazy so expect to see a lot of movement left until then.

If Partey goes we will definitely be in the market for a replacement and I think if the right offer comes in for Tierney he’ll go too. Travares, Holding, Cedric, Pepe and Lakonga will definitely go, I’d be a amazed if ESR went and we couldn’t give Vieira away :banghead:

Eddie/Balogun is the one to watch for me, could easily make a case for either going but no idea what’s going to happen there. Gonna be a frantic few weeks that’s for sure.

I certainly can't see anyone paying 45-50m for Balogun so unless we accept a low-ball offer after playing billy big bollocks and saying 50m.......I think he'll stay which means Eddie could well be off to Brentford or Wet Spam for around 30-35m. Balogun will then get lots of game time. I'm just not sure about him.

I agree although will be delighted to see the back of eddie. I never understood why we extended his contract and gave him 100K a week because he's useless.

I think he was going to be out of contract and therefore move on a free transfer

£100k a week was madness, but we have paid him £5m in wages last year so if we sold him for £15-20m would make a decent profit.

He won’t agree to a pay cut so I reckon we are stuck with him.

100 grand a week isn’t massive these days, even shite clubs in dire need of a striker like West Ham, Palace or Everton could easily match that. Danny Ings is on 125 grand a week at West Ham, that’s incredible banter.

Brentford also badly need a striker now that Paddy Power is banned for 6 months, they’d have to make him their top earner but needs must when it comes to staying in the league and hoovering up all that sweet tv cash.

I think he could easily be shifted and fingers crossed he is.

We've conducted business early which is always good. I hope Partey doesn't leave towards the end of the transfer and then we are rushing to buy a replacement which is half decent and then get shafted. As much as we all want Partey to move, we still would want an adequate replacement.

True Rodders, but Eddie wouldn't do much to help with that ambition.

I actually laughed out loud when I saw on Sky that the spuds were interested..... Is that 'interested' like I am interested in banging Jennifer Lawrence? Even for a club to take Mbappe on loan for a season, on his current wages of £2m a week, is somewhere in the region of 80m. Not even City would pay that! The Saudi's are the only ones who can afford him and the notion that Spuds are in there is beyond a joke, just the same as Sly sports saying their beloved man united are interested too!! Another team with fuck all money to spend currently!!!

300 million euro for Mbappe and they’re going to pay him 700 million for one year.

Yeah that sounds totally legit

Does FFP (yes! I know a fucking joke if ever there was one) But would FFP apply to the Arab Leagues? I mean they're not involved with any UEFA Cups / CL etc.

Thing is it wouldn't surprise me at all if PSGwhores accepted the offer - They get shot of a player who has become a nuisance and b bigger than the club (Not Difficult I know) and He gets to go on a Free to the club he is destined to join.

KERRRRCHINNNNGGG! The World of Football Truly Has Gone Berserk.
